Thanks for this recipe. I finally know how to make my favorite soup ❤ I used 2 cups of milk and it came out not as thick but still delicious. I also added a whole pack of broccoli florets from Costco which is 2 lbs and 8 oz of cheese. Yum yum

Gotta try this recipe. I love your videos. Here's a little tip. For a lot of my soups, especially creamy ones, instead of using flour or cornstarch I use instant potato flakes which have a good flavor and it's a vegetable too albeit not the healthiest, but as good as flour or cornstarch. Maybe you can try it one day and tell me what you think. Don't add too much or it can become too thick.

Just remember that potatoes are one of, if not the, most chemical laden foods you can eat.

Just made this broccoli cheddar cheese soup using purple shredded carrots. I also used a2 milk instead of half and half. It still tasted fantastic. Though the soup color maybe more appropriate for Mardi gra or Halloween. Thanks so much!

There is a science to instant pot cooking. You marry traditional (french) cooking technique to that science for delicious meals. I would recommend people take your advice - for example, to saute the veg as these are the techniques that elevate the dish. I made a double batch of the soup I had an abundance of broccoli I used cream instead of milk also I added Creme Fraiche. I never have had any soup at Panera but I doubt they could even be close to mine. Thanks for your help and suggestions

They really do, but feel free to add 1 teaspoon of onion powder in place of the chopped onions.

My sister has made this with unsweetened oat milk. I personally have not tried that myself. I would suggest lactaid is you can use it.
