To those (like myself) who are having trouble with "The Boogeyman" Skybreaker Disparu Troop: KITE THEM! Trying to Speed Tank( in a Corax ) at close distance won't work, their weps do not miss in Abyssal Deadspaces. As long as you are over 20km away and are flying over 500kps you can burn them down. As Captain Benzie has said you should be using Scourge missles. Switching out to Caldari Navy versions for this mob is a great idea to get your dps up! You should have 150dps just to be safe, so skill up! Do not lose an expensive ship( for newbros ) by being stubborn! Know your enemies. Eve University website will give you the info you need to kill 'Bosses'. Abyssal Deadspaces can be fun and profitable if you just pay attention to the tips and know your info.

Yes indeed the corax is the bomb...for a destroyer. However, the punisher is the one you want. A firigate gets more loot and you can clear all 3 rooms (in any weather) within 4-5 minutes. The Hunter and Skybreaker can not hurt you. I've completed hundreds and still on my first Punisher. If you are looking to safely grind some Isk as a new player, try it you''ll ike it. You should get at least 150 dps with multifrequency crystals, I'm only 4 weeks playing eve but i'm getting 172 dps on the punisher. I believe the Captain has a fit you can use. Check it out.

Whilst I do like the Punisher, it's a very different skillset to the Corax. I make content purely to show how people can have fun in the ships that they want to fly, rather than minmaxing. The Punisher is amazing though!!

Hookbill is an overkill for T0, it can solo T1s And no, don't do T1s in a destroyer. Cause it has signature of a cruiser, and enemies like Leshak, Drecavac or drone BCs will eat you alive.

I use a passive shield corax with an afterburner, it's probably even more newb friendly and works for my low skilled market alt to do his dailies. It takes about the same time to kill the rat to afterburn to the node so a MWD with a single node each room seems unnecessary.

Afterburner and burn to cache works until you get one of the BS/BC rooms and then you're screwed.

Honestly the corax is by far my favorite destroyer. Idk just the fun speed and damage you can get is awesome. Might have to build a second for abyssal deadspace

Corax is my favorite ship too. After being in love with the cormorant, and losing it to lvl 2 mission mobs (big alpha mistake falling in love first time with a ship), I got into Corax and breezed through the tranquil filaments. But I noticed that Corax is very limited, also not many guides for this ship out there. My question is can I rely on this ship, or at least can I rely on the skills I train for it, for the future ships? I kind of like the missile ships so....I don't know what to do :/

I'm just recently returning to the game on a fresh account (I got my skill points already) and the one bad thing I will say is that you need perfect fitting skills for this to work which I would (and plan to) step up to a RLM caracal before I push those fitting skills to 5 because it will do the same content faster. I used my million SP to push all of the magic 14 to level 4 which I would argue is the best use for them.

yeah corax, cormorant and thrasher (the latter with long range weapons) - they all smash any tranquil like in cheat mode. but good isk for a new player that needs it :)

I use a Corax for a lot of things. I've managed to complete a handful of Level 3 sec missions using a Corax with T2 modules and ammo. They were not easy, but, it's possible to do.

That's just about getting your DPS up. Use Caldari Navy ammo, train your missile skills. They hurt and you have to kill them fast.

When you activate the Filament, click the drop down menu and change to Destroyer. You'll need to be in a fleet - which you can do by right clicking your own name.

Swapped over to using this bad boy instead of the kestrel. Was having trouble killing skybreakers with the kestrel. Only issue I have is I cant run a microwarp drive, I don't have enough CPU. training more engineering skills, but should I be training the ones that take days in order to run this fit? (or is there some other cpu/energy skills I might be missing somewhere else in the skill tree? also how much dps would I need to kill a T1 skybreaker?

Skybreaker you want 120 minimum if you're happy overheating, otherwise 140. As for CPU, no, that's fitting skills. For PG, you can look at Weapons Upgrades.

I’m using this fit now for a few days but all of a sudden I cannot turn on at least 1 module now. Everything is on and fitted but I cannot turn the shield booster online. The problem I seemed to have is that right when I was going to break through the shield I had to reload and then it regened most of the shield in that time. I was in a Tranquil Electrical. I've since just switched to the Faction missiles just to make sure it doesn't happen again though.

I have higher skills. Train CPU Management, Powergrid Management, and Weapons Upgrades skills. As for DPS, make sure you're using Scourge missiles, and again, train skills. You won't need the exact numbers I have, but you'll need at least 120 dps

Nope. They can appear for frigates too. There's no difference between a frigate, Dessie, or cruiser run, except the loot gets multiplied based on the number of filaments used.

No. You need to create a fleet with yourself first (right click your own name, create fleet with) and you'll need to use two filaments every time you enter (but you get double the loot that a cruiser would)

You need to be in a fleet, and you must change the drop down menu to the type of ship you are flying. You will need one Filament in your hold to enter with a cruiser. You will need two Filaments of the same type in your hold to enter with a single destroyer, or two destroyers (you can bring a friend). You will need THREE filaments of the same type in your hold to enter with a single frigate, two frigates, or three frigates (you can bring friends!) Hope this helps!

The normal standard Corax no longer works unless you are in a group (fleet) with 3 frigates, 2 destroyers or a cruiser!! unless you take the Tec 2 Stork. But this again costs around 60 million and is therefore not beginner-friendly

@@GolfIIIVR6Highline Right click your name, Create Fleet With You have to be in a fleet, but you can be in a fleet on your own. Abyssals are designed for 1 Cruiser, 2 Destroyers, or 3 Frigates. This means you use multiple filaments for smaller ships, but you also double/triple the loot. As such, a frigate soloing a T0 gets TRIPLE the loot of a Cruiser running a T0. A Destroyer in a T0 gets double the loot of a Cruiser in a T0.

Just know that the blueprints you get from Abyssal are worth a lot of isk after they are manufactured, which is something these "pros" failed to tell us noobs farming for the surveys isn't worth it and it only pays 100k isk per survey and farming T1 really isn't worth survey runs.

Glad that you're enjoying the Caracal! Be aware that cruisers get 1x loot from Abyssals (using one filament) whereas Destroyers get 2x loot for 2x Filaments used.
