This is not a big deal, just a peeve. But Harrison Ford wasn't just a carpenter in the '70s, and some real "man" because of that. He didn't take many drama classes in college, but he did and got the bug. Which is why he did summer stock theatre, then jetted off to LA to make a career of his acting, and had been doing bit parts, to larger parts, since 1964. He became a carpenter to support his family, but he was an aspiring/working actor for years before his role in American Graffiti. Because acting is a real art, and yes, real men act.

Honestly i dont get why people liked that movie at all. The movie just sucks. They can throw all the cool characters and cameos and references that i love and still the movie will suck. Mainly becauss they dont do anything with them. They are just references and cameos. Then we have a few 80s cliches used as plot to move the story forward. Yeah cool...they should have watched the cabin in the woods cuz that shit did nothing for me but feel lazy. Ready player one didnt feel like a gran homage to gaming, movies and 80s culture, it just felt like a mosh mash of everything trying to appeal to everyone so EVERYONE can go at least once "oh! Then some God from another dimension appear to be more honest to him and promised him power and equality and that they would be kings in the New World if he help them establish it. That’s pretty reasonable motivation. And then you have the joker in the dark Knight who essentially just wanted to watch the world burn but since it was dark and gritty everyone makes it deeper than it needs to be. I know there was more to his motivation than that but seriously, it was barely...
