When I repair rusty DC motors, I soak them in vinegar for a day to remove the rust, then I use a portable pressure washer to remove the rust that is still attached, then I dry it with a hair dryer, then I clean it with a contact cleaner.

this video is much better than the makita saw one you did a year ago. However in order to compete with the other channels that do the same thing, you need to strive for perfection. Everyone knows these restorations are not economical compared to buying a new tool however we watch it due to the pleasure of fixing something that looks otherwise not attractive/functional. To see you do 90-95% of the work and not get the last 5-10% to perfection is slightly irritating. examples include not cleaning off the screws not taking shots of wires going into the hole first try when putting the battery back together not putting the nano coating on the battery not smearing around the grease more evenly etc you have done so much work and have the expertise but your subscriber count does not do justice to the amount of work you have put into making these videos. the reason is you lack the final 5-10% to make your videos excel compared to the competition. its a shame to see you climb up the mountain and then quit 50m from the summit. hope you do better for the future. all the best :) also a new mic of better one might help, lots of people enjoy the asmr of these videos.

oh and some sort of mat for the table might help the visuals, it could be anything as long as it looks clean
