There was always something special about the sound of this song, with how the keyboard synthesizers and waning guitar riffs blended in so well together and carried the feeling of the vocals throughout the song. "Eurasian Eyes" is my favorite Corey Hart song & a large part of that is because of the video, so thanks for sharing that. :) The haunting beginning literally makes you feel the brush of winter. His vocals are chilling&stirring. Very powerful. The lyics compliment a good story in which yearning from afar translates to a whole new level. I think it carries and fulfills a great moment. It fit well into "9 1/2 Weeks" that showed a rough & complex relationship. Thx 4 sharing. Multiple plays now! A+

Eurasian eyes are watching me Like a river, oh you flow through me Eurasian eyes are running still Whispered moments, oh cut the chill When Eurasian eyes are watching me Do you feel the passion in me? 'Cause I'm the one that said I'd never care For someone like you Now I'm the one that lacks the eloquence To say, ooh to say That when the world is cold with no one to hold I can only see Eurasian eyes Love won't lie 'cause the truth would cry That I can only see Eurasian eyes Eurasian eyes inspire me Look for the magic until I see Eurasian eyes, so honestly Do you feel the passion in me? 'Cause I'm the one that said I'd never care For someone like you Now you're inside me And I won't defend what I want to do for you But oh, now I said Now I'm the one that lacks the eloquence To say, ooh to say When the world is cold with no one to hold I can only see Eurasian eyes You know love won't lie 'cause the truth would cry I can only see Eurasian eyes And if my heart is blind then why do I find I can only see Eurasian eyes Oh no, no When the world is cold with no one to hold I can only see Eurasian eyes You know love won't lie 'cause the truth would cry That I can only see Eurasian eyes And if my heart is blind then why do I find I can only see Eurasian eyes And when the world is cold with no one to hold I only see Eurasian eyes Eurasian eyes Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Corey Hart

Thanks to the Internet I’ve been able to prove myself right. 😉 Thanks Corey, for some of my most favourite songs. Listening to them now makes me feel 13 again; writing my first and only fan letter to my most favourite rock star. They evoke freedom, hope, optimism and they are just plain fun! Man, I bought an old compilation record yesterday, and the last song of A side is this. I didn't know this song yet, although I'm a huge lover of the 80's in all its essence. I admit I never heard a song like this one... it seems to me that it's the first music I like from zero second to the end! I am so proud I was born in the 80's, and at the same time I feel sad because there are only a few artists that try to compose songs with the 80's pop and synth style nowadays. And they are not in everyday's radio, even less in my country. This song is perfect, it has that super well arranged combo of guitar and drums! And mr. Corey does a so simple but true performance in the clip! He sings, shakes, shows anger and looks into our eyes. Totally 80's. I wish our kids could love this.

From the "9 1/2 Weeks" Soundtrack. Damn great photography & music, but dark, and eventually a sad story. Obsession. Desire. Voyeurism. Adventure. You'll be high, till the later part when their world falls apart. You have to know where the edge is. "Slave To Love", "This City Never Sleeps", "You Can Leave Your Hat On" are some of the great songs from the film. Live in the moment as much as possible.
