@Yamnihc Ebmilaw some dogs do, some dogs dont, theres dogs that will kill a chick and then proceed to eat it, some dogs will even try to kill other dog's babies sometimes, some dogs just dont feel remorse for killing and yet can still be sweet doggies which seems so unbelievable i guess its kinda in their dna to kill smaller creatures or just anything that will run. so i think this dog growling at the other dogs was fair i guess in a pack they kinda have to defend whats theirs even their babies and that instinct kinda pasted on even in selective breeding. it could also be that your dog was upset cuz you were upset and your dog loves you

Its a big job for a busy mama! Keeps their ears and mouths from getting infected which is common in neglected babies. They can develop all sorts of nasty if someone doesn't step up to the task

@@astaraoneill9166 Pembroke Welsh Corgis were originally bred and raised for herding. Despite their size they are very fast and their tendency to growl if you get out of place (atleast most corgi's I've known, especially mine) make them great at herding. My own corgi polices my sister's cats, whenever she sees the cats do something we humans don't approve of, she barks at them and tries to intimidate them away from what they are doing.

I once saw a border collie keeping a very close eye on, and herding when necessary, two small fluffy white dogs. The respective owners were chatting in a park. It was hilarious. I also love watching herding competitions. I’ve also seen border collies herd their humans...she kept guard at the bathroom door if a member of her “herd” split off for the loo.
