Nice to see at least Cleet wearing ear pro while working on the engine...honestly should be made mandatory for all his guys. Safety first.

I don't say anything, but was really glad to see him wearing them. These guys don't realize how detrimental it can be to their heath and family. Jackstand thinks it's cool now, but when he can no longer hear his wife and children, and he has tinnitus screaming 24/7 365 he will really regret his decisions.

@@John-hw3ds yeah, it's no joke...and sure it's only a minute or two at a time, but when you get up to open header levels of sound, damage takes all of seconds.

I’ve always got oil pressure faster by removing the plugs and using the starter to roll the engine over.
@markwise98682 жыл бұрын
It's done best by pulling the distributor and intermediate shaft and putting a hex shaft on a drill into the pump. Then slowly rotate engine with breakover bar to make sure all the passages get fed.

Agree, they have a bit to go before they get close to Summernats.. and Garret should know that he's BEEN to Summernats, it's what inspired him to try and do this.
@Thegoreofitall2 жыл бұрын
Don't get me wrong the show is still going to be crazy but the calibre of cars at summernats is a whole different level.... look at toast compared to killa b

Best burnout competition in the world...hardly. If the Aussies aren't there, it ain't the best. Warbird, Killer Bee are just examples of the standard of cars in the Aussie Summernats (1500 to 3000hp). Murica is still at the level of using under-engineered junkers out of the scrapyard....that was Australia 20yrs ago. Garrett is to be given much credit for promoting burnout comps, but to say 'best in the world' is so typically American 😐

To keep this thing form hard starting with all that timing use the old circle track/ drag racing trick of starting to turn it over THEN hit the ignition
