I used to work at a Thai restaurant as my first job and I always have good memories when it came to corn patties ! The appetizer lady that would make the corn patties knew I liked them so whenever she would make some she would put one on the shelf in the kitchen for me to eat when I get a chance since I was working and running out orders ^^ She was always sweet to me and greeted me with a smile lol unfortunately a year or so after I left I found out she passed away :( Thanks for the recipe!!!

Hi Pailin...just an input for you, you can try using gluten free flour if you don't want the batter has much gluten and the fritters will be much crunchier. I live in samut prakan, I love thai food and thanks to you I can cook some of them by myself.

I love Thai food but never had the skill to cook until I found your channel. I tried the corn fritters like your recipe and came out good. I also learned the trick behind making the batter crispy. Thanks a lot for the recipe.

once again you have shown your viewers a tip that i have never heard mentioned in any of the gazillion food videos i have watched over the years. as a professional chef who has been responsible for food costs and budgets we try make sure there is as little waste of product as possible, and we use the discarded/leftover product to enhance other things we are cooking. Like fresh corn cobs. you are the first person i have seen telling your viewers that saving corn cobs to infuse more corn flavor into whatever you are making was a thing. I first learned about this great flavor booster when i was introduced to Corn and Leek Soup, which in this instance was from French Cuisine. One thing i appreciate about your lessons is that unlike many KZbin chefs that specialize in a particular cuisine, you have studied at Le Cordon Bleu and that gives the experience and knowledge to break down different aspects of your lessons, and explain what is happening, in a manner that Westerners can easily understand. Your background stories and cooking science knowledge make it all make sense. TYVM for your time and effort. ☮❤🙏

I just made these right now! I didn't add coconut cause I didn't have any handy but just like that alone came out really good. Although just all be careful when cooking them they do pop a little if they are left a while to brown. I burnt a finger and it hurts so bad... my only pain reliever right is eating those suckers. They are so worth it.

I wondered about that, it happens to me every time I make American style corn fritters. I was hoping these Thai ones didn’t do that. I would love to hear if someone has figured out how to stop the corn from popping.😊
