Petco has a $1 per gallon sale about four times a year. Any basic Aqueon tank between 5.5 gallons and 29 gallons is $1 per gallon. Any tank over 29 gallons is half off. Currently, in my area of Atlanta, Georgia, USA, the normal price is $210 but the current sales price is $105 because they have the $1 per gallon sale going on now. Emma Rowley, I think Lilwheelie12 was impressed by how low the price was, not stunned at how high it was.

You’re keeping three adult corn snakes in a 60 gallon? Please separate them ASAP! 60 gallons isn’t even big enough for one adult corn snake, let alone three. The minimum for one adult is 4x2x2’ (120 gallons). Corn snakes are solitary animals and don’t benefit from cohabitation. They will stress each other out and compete for resources.

Adult corn snakes need a 4x2x2’ enclosure or larger. The enclosure should be at least as long as the snake.

Hey! I’m a new snake owner I have a ball python and he/she is in a 75 gallon right now because I got it for free and I’m just wondering how many watts your heating lamp is and if you also use a heating pad? Also how do you control your humidity so it stays at a consistent level. Last question is did you buy that tank lid with the tank or was it separate? Mine came with a fish tank lid but it has holes in it and is plastic so I need to either find a lid for cheap or make one. Anything helps! Great video btw I subscribed(:

1. For a Ball Python, a 75 watt bulb should be fine for a 75 gallon. 2. I would highly recommend a heating pad on the hot side, Ball Pythons tend to prefer underbelly heat over basking, but they will bask as well. 3. For Ball Pythons, choosing a substrate like eco-earth and coconut husk helps keep humidity high and can do wonders. Also, spraying the tank down heavily once or twice a day is often all that's needed to keep humidity above 60%. A Humidity box can do wonders and allows your snake to regulate when it needs higher humidity or not. You can also get a mister, which mists the terrarium at set intervals. 4. Almost all terrariums come with lids included, and I would recommend you get one with front opening doors for easier access/cleaning. Aquariums however will often NOT come with lids, but are often only an extra $20 or so.

For anyone wondering or questioning- i would NOT recommend a fish tank/aquarium. “doors” that are on top (like aquariums) are not good for snakes or reptiles- you can spook them from grabbing them from overhead, as well as problems with feeding, etc. Please please PLEASE get an enclosure with front doors!!
