Corn to Plastics

Corn is showing up in places you would have never expected. A company in Columbus is making plastic film from corn. Our Ohio visits Plastic Suppliers to learn more about this new technology. From Our Ohio show 223, produced in 2007.

Think of it this way. This is the first step in a good direction. It is totally feasible that in the very near future that farms could produce the corn with organic pesticides, have it transported in biodiesel or ethanol powered trucks and processed in a facility run on solar power. Of course petroleum will still end up in the process through capital goods but it's a significant improvement from using oil and oil derived energies to do this entire process as is currently done.

there are alot of local places here in NW Ohio that are sprouting up with green food containers and stuff. more than in central ohio. everything from cups and bowls to utensils. I believe the nw ohio area needs to be showcased too

Is your plant near the Ohio nuclear plants closed & not? Where do you get your water & corn from ? Are you involved in chitosan aka chitin coating ... corn, sea life shells processed to make powder ..pill ...liquid chitosan coating medical implanted products .. used in the pertussis vaccine. . Cigerate paper and filters that hold a patent for chitosan used...to miralax and other laxatives ..cancer drugs ..diet pills that all have chitosan . ??? How far plastic has come is killing humans .. look at medical mesh .. it's coated with chitosan. . Not disclosing shell allergy alerts .. or how the sterilization chemicals used on medical crap ..the e.oxides .. and how it affects chitosan as kits are sealed with the gas. A gas not meant for inside the human body . Research AMS ..other vendors of medical mesh the fda approved under a 510 k vs device laws. Implanting mesh has affected thousands globally. Cancer follows. Exactly how far do you go with being accountable to the use of your product? Show chitosan ...completely in uses I mentioned. . Include food ..animal food too...packaging. There is a reason fish products are used in pet foods and why the inner bags turn brownish. Heat .. transportation ..storage .. things you mfg's don't involve yourselves in .. selling to anyone . Kindly provide a few good chitosan links. . AND A reply. My family has lived in ohio ...been affected by nuclear plants .. like that near Ross ohio. Mfg's of mesh are in states where nuclear plants leaking exist .. & the chitosan coating businesses & sterilization businesses. I don't think this is by any coincidence. Thank you.
