I am a mother who works here in hongkong as Domestic helper and at the same time I am working in one church here in hk. I am preparing a sermon, and a month ago I have my devotion to book of Amos. I have a bit confusion of most of the topic. But it's been two days listening and subscribed here, it is like a door opened to me with the perfect history and theological terms and correct interpretation of bible. I am listening for the whole day while I'm working at the house. It is an eye opener to learn how the history of Israel takes place. . I can't thank this church and Paster Allen enough. I found the first video on the Olivetti discourse and binge watched them all. I'm a newer Christian and I have just made my second trip through the bible but I have so many questions. I'm sure God brought me here just as he brought me to him because Pastor Allen hits every question I have bang on the nose. I hurried through the New Testament because I wanted to do Revelation with his study guide. I'm on video 64 and I can hardly wait each morning to get to my study room and begin the session that day. I get so excited it's like waiting for a special delivery. Lol. My notes book has moved throw two binders slready because there is so much. My brother asked to read through them when I'm done. He's read the Bible about 15-20 times already but he's not sure he's getting all that marvellous book has to offer either. This teaching is so good because I hear people say that the Bible says nothing on abortion. Thankyou for showing me differently. What a great sermon about abortion. It’s my first time watching this one. I need to watch it again. The thing I hear is incest, rape, what if those scenarios take place? Should abortion be accepted? That’s an explanation I would like more detail biblically on. I don’t believe any unborn child should be aborted. They are living beings. My oldest child when she was in my wife’s womb, a diagnosis of Down syndrome was detected and immediately doctors asked if we wanted to abort it. To make a long story short, we did not. This child loves missions work and is currently on an internship in a Bible college because she has a desire to serve in missions. Had we aborted this child, we as parents would’ve missed out on a golden opportunity to see our child grow in the ways of the Lord and to see the great things she is doing doing for Him. If any of you ladies out there are contemplating abortion, please don’t do it. You never know if that child will grow to be a great leader for Jesus!

how wonderful! I have friends who had a bunch of children. they just kept on coming!! they would send her for scand and she said why? if the baby was not 100% then so be it was their joint attitude!! this was in the early days of scans and she quite often miscarried and so for some reason a scan was deemed appropriate!!! it didn't stop them though and their 5 surviving sons are wonderful men although one has a disability. but it makes no difference. the 5 children are blessings. end of.

The first chapters of Matthew that give us the three sets of genealogy. From Abraham to David is the first trimester of the pregnancy. From David thru Babylon is the second trimester of the pregnancy and the third trimester is Babylon to Jesus Christ. Each of the three trimester terms brings forth the knitting of each baby to be born.

This is the best teaching on abortion I have ever heard, that is, until the end. Please explain to me (I don't think you can) how a fetus, if conceived by rape or incest, is not a living human being and to abort that fetus is not considered murder by God or anyone? In all fairness to you, I have not heard your teaching explaining your thoughts on the issue of rape/incest, just your comment in this sermon about they should be exceptions. I don't believe there should be any exceptions to abortion including the life of the mother. Over 1500 OB/GYN drs have signed a statement saying there is no reason to abort a baby to save the live of the mother. Delivery, yes, but not abortion. I pray you will respond to this comment especially if I misunderstood your comments on the rape/incest issue. God Bless

I would like to know your thoughts on the following: So if women can be condemned for abortion according to the bible, and have abortion rights taken away, then gay and trans would need to be condemned as well, and not have rights either.... The bible teaches that Jesus forgives all sins except for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, the Bible teaches you are a new creation, and your sins before that point are blotted out against you. The key to unlocking this forgiveness is, is that you must sincerely repent of your sins and believe and trust in Jesus to the point there's a visible change to your life to others. So to answer your question, if you sincerely repented for your sin and have genuinely made Jesus Lord of your life and are actively striving to live a life that's more pleasing to the Lord then yes sister you are indeed forgiven!!! So don't carry that guilt with you, I've learned that's Satan trying to get to you and rejoice we have a Lord that's faithful and true and keeps all his promises even when we don't and he promises forgiveness! His forgiveness is so perfect and so vast that even if Jeffrey Dalmer, if he was indeed sincere about his conversion and repented, then even he was forgiven even after the terrible things he had done. It's one of the reasons why Jesus hasn't come back yet because he's giving everybody a chance to repent and make him Lord, he dosent want to lose a single soul. Pastor Allen ~ Thank you for making the argument against abortion based on solid scripture. However, in the case of a therapeutic abortion when the life of a mother and family is threatened shouldn’t that be a choice between the mother and her doctor? Right now, Doctors are not being trained in medical school to perform a therapeutic abortion and in practice are told to wait until the fetus dies or is already dead inside the mother to even consider performing an abortion to protect the life of the mother. The mother has to painfully wait until she indicates the onset of septic symptoms and then the risk for a legal therapeutic abortion is greater and death is likely. Not only is the foetus dead but the mother is dealt a mandated death. It is personal when a woman has to potentially damage her reproductive system and future of infertility. Also there will be greater maternal deaths from self inflicted or botched abortions because women cannot have access to planned parenthood clinics for contraception and sliding scale safe reproductive health care. We have old men in USA Congress who think women can only get pregnant if they want to, no idea how reproduction occurs, want to mandate no exceptions of abortions of any kind, claim that planned parenthood only does abortions, and that rape and incest victims should carry an unplanned pregnancy. Please comment, as I know everyone may not agree with my rebuttal.

Thanks God we didn't have to vote for Donald Trump and Pro choice didn't win. Pro choice and Pro life exist in both parties, is not than one is better than the other. Both have good people, and all kind of criminal ones. When a law is approved is not because that is what the president want, is because the majority voted from both parties.
