Holding close to the head is so hard for me. It's like my fingers are too big 😂

Practice makes perfect. I promise you that you will get it. No one gets it perfect the 1st tine. You can find videos on here that show you how to cornrows overhanded and underhanded. I had to find them after my stroke bc the whole right side if my bidy is permanently partially paralized then adapt from there to be able to hold them tight. Maybe 1 method would help you hold it tighter. My best advice is to work on larger sections on hair to get the hang of it, then work smaller and smaller. I'd also suggest getting cosmetology mannequin. It's a lot harder to learn on your own head vs someone else's head. TEMU has em for $15-$25. Good luck!

I definitely just learned a few days ago! I have a 1 year old daughter. I grabbed a doll head, watched videos and practiced and I just did her hair yesterday for the first time 😅

Another tip is to grab very small sections at a time as close to the last rotation as possibly. It keeps the braids from being too loose and looking more uniform

This has me wanting to buy a styling head & learn. I've tried learning before on KZbin, but their hands are always too much in the way. You make this look much easier to learn

I'd like a tutorial for some super-thick 4b/4C hair. It's different for thick and curly hair. How can we get the parts straight, neat and even on thick curly and coarse hair?

thanks. this is the clearest tutorial. Others will say "and then add hair" but then they don't show from where or how much to add. just frustrating.. thanks, really, thanks

Hello! I’m an Asian girl from Singapore who think that this hairstyle is super cute and want to try it out on myself. May I ask the black community know if it is allowed or is it disrespectful? Thanks! I don’t want to culture appropriate.
