Can't believe you went to Boscastle and didn't visit the museum of witchcraft. Also, Tintagel is about 5 miles away, legendary home of King Arthur. On the way, you would have passed at Nectans Glen an Waterfall a magical Goddess shrine. Plus the Rocky Valley with Neolithic labyrinth etching. The amazing beach at Trebarwith strand especially at low tide!!!

It still does, the language is making a comeback with 1000s of speakers and the culture is very different to England. Different enough for Cornish to be an ethnic group with the same status as Welsh and Scottish.

I have to say this. Recently a traveler came to my town and got too close to the cliffs. The cliffs in my town are very unstable and could fall down at any time. Sadly she fell and passed away but I just wanted to warn tourists not to get too close to the cliffs because you don’t know how stable they are.

Me and my parents went camping in Cornwall, and I convinced them to visit Boscastle one day, largely because I used it as a case study in my Geography coursework, but I really just wanted to see if it was actually as nice as you said it was. Fair play, it was a good shout. I got some great photos while there, including one taken from the river bed! If you can, it’s worth the trip. Maybe not for more than a couple of days, as there’s not much to do in that town, but certainly visit there if you’re in Cornwall.

In 2004 there was a Flash Flood after a prolong period of exceptional rainfall.. To give an idea of magnitude, that Car Park were in first of all, looking down @ what is a small river/ stream now! The water was higher than the car park level, extensively damaged most of the village buildings! Was a just sight of total devastation.. First time I've seen again in your Vlog, an amazing transformation, like it'd never happened! Show's how a community & authorities etc, can pull together, must've been an epic feat.. Anyway, really enjoying the UK road trip, thus far 😉

I love Cornwall, been here for over 10 yrs! There is less dancing and songs in Cornish but at certain events things are made to be traditional and we always learnt about Cornwall in primary school - so it's not disappearing all together! There's also language lessons being taught in Callington at the mo! I'm surprised you didn't go in the Witch shop at Boscastle just over the bridge (they have ancient witch tools and ingredients in there, death threats sent by the church back in the day and little charms)!

There was a gigantic flood in Boscastle a few years ago. All the cars in the car park were literally swept out to sea, as were some of the buildings!! It was a huge disaster and was the number one item on the news for a couple of days. Yes Cornwall (corn=south;Wall as in Wallia / Welsh) It is very much like the West of Ireland & why i like it. Try Schooners Trevaunance Cove. The best Cornish Pasties by far. Its the real deal & right by a beautiful cove where i was once swept out to sea on the riptide on the side of the headland there. I followed a tunnel which goes under the headland & thought i'd swim back. Never jump into the sea next to cliffs on a headland. If You do swim for the far away shore diagonaly, eventually You might make it back. Undercurrents are very fast and we have to relax & hopes to drift back to the surface. If we struggle we just get dragged under & further out to sea. Ive me and erred, but try schooners Pasties. Made just the way the Tin miners had them.

Corn wall- Southern Welsh, never thought of that, thanks! But you know what really ticks me off as a Welshman, is the name, 'Wales' given to us by our Anglo Saxon conquerors , you know, those Germanic speaking invaders that came over from Northern Europe in 5-600AD. The name, Wales comes from the original anglo saxon 'Waelisic' which means 'Foreigner' - cheeky sods! (Cymru is our own name for Wales)

There were a few clips that you took that may had put your life in jeopardy. I don't know if this KZbinr, his channel is Stop Having a Boring Life had disappeared from this earth because he took risks in filming videos while standing on roof or cliffs etc and fell down etc, I just know he had suddenly stopped producing videos for years. I guess the audiences would rather choose to watch your very educational videos for eternity than to catch those few moments when you film yourself while walking the roof or cliffs, so would your parents coz they love you so much & for so long & so do all your friends.
