Yup! I am shocked that a CAC score is not part of "required" stuff like Vaccination. I got mine several years ago... thx to my Cardiologist.

I have always had a very high cholesterol ( 300 + mg/dl ) and I refuse statins so I started CCS q 5 yrs about 10 years ago at age 53. Here are my 3 results. I am 63 yo now and I’m on HRT. I am on zero drugs for any chronic disease. Age 53 = zero Age 58= zero Age 63=

And yet a person, age 60, can have a CAC score of over 1400, be told that their heat is like that of a 70 year old. Get a nuclear stress test done, and be told their heart is that of a 40 year old?
