It seems like the script writers of the seventies referred to the sixties for inspiration and rehashed previous story lines...missing baby. lovable scouse rogue etc: Also fun to spot Corrie legends of the future making their debuts playing cameo roles in the sixties ...Alf and Ernest in1961, Hilda in1962 and Rita in 1964. Even Mike Baldwin did the same as a passing truck driver in the seventies.
