Don blamed Ivy for losing his leg - he had an affair. Says she drove him to suicide, he gambled his car away, she bailed him out, she stood by him when he was stalking, had an affair, etc, an horrendous man

As much as Ivy was a twat of a character I agree given the fact that Don suddenly got pissed off with Ivy during the period when she was hurt and irritated by Martin the nonce wanting to adopt the children of her dead child and taking on his name. Perfectly understandable how Ivy would feel in my opinion.

Ivy is far from being the perfect wife, but she definitely does not deserve being treated like that by Don. She paid off his debt from Mike Baldwin, stuck with him when he cheated on her and he blames Ivy because he tried to kill himself when it was because his fancy bit didnt want him. The way he treats her is soul destroying, no wonder Ivy is how she is.

I don’t know, she was an absolutely awful person way before Don. And, she completely disregarded his opinions or feelings. She guilted him into coming back when he didn’t want to. He doesn’t want to be with her and she won’t accept that. I think you have to be harsh with someone who just won’t listen.

Kevin Kennedy was drinking heavily, as well. I think was because of stage-fright. I read an article that said his dressing-room was chock-full of empty vodka bottles. As I recall, it got the better of him, at one point, and he had to take time off the show.

Sorry Gail but the babysitter essentially ISthe mother, sadly for your daughter that person doesn’t love her. How sad for kids today, stuck with their primary care takers being people who don’t love them and their mother sees them a couple hours a week when she is tired and frustrated from work. Of course Sara wants to be with Sally, Gail is just an angry visitor she sees once in a while. Sally is the one who cares for her day in and day out, the one who bandages her scrapes, who reads her stories, plays with her, makes her meals…..everything. Again sadly all without the deep love of a mother. No argument Sally cares for Rosie in a way she will never care for Gail’s kids. The whole thing is sad. All because modern women look at the most important job of motherhood as a death sentence, something disgusting and beneath them. They are missing out, I feel sorry for them
