It reminds me of Longtime Companion where a Soap Opera Writer named Sean (US) was told by his "Partner" David that he didn't have AIDS although he had all of the signs from excessive sweating and a Lump on his Neck that he never saw before and he was losing weight. Sadly enough he lost his life to the disease and David would too.

September to November 2019 was almost like a repeat of that time the previous year with the similar storylines and how they all picked up again. In October 2018, Sinead gets diagnosed Cancer and then she doesn’t tell Daniel and Daniel and Sinead have a Wedding and then in 2019, Daniel and Sinead get remarried and then Sinead gets Cancer at that moment and she dies. The other Storyline is where Ali’s past finally carries on with him and then Ryan has a flashback of Cormac having an overdose because Cormac had a Seizure and overdosed on Drugs and died back on Friday 28th September 2018 and then on Friday 13th September 2019, Ali has a Seizure and he takes Drugs as well so Ryan is taken aback by his past and Ali is revealed to have been using Drugs and his problem carries on and that was back to front and from September 2019, Ali was suffering in October 2018 when he killed Ronan and then he told Michelle first and then she practically backed him into a corner as to him telling Robert the truth and he wanted to anyway and then Robert told Ryan what happened after accidentally revealing the truth to him. Then in September 2019, Michelle and Ryan’s roles are reversed but ever so slightly different, Ryan helps Ali with his Drug Addiction and then Ryan tells Robert straight away though this time but it’s 2 months until Michelle actually finds out randomly out of the blue. For me, that’s trying to take a break and make it so those storylines happen in the Autumn Season. Maybe they may as well have filmed as if Covid was taking place if they weren’t gonna carry anything on. I think it was written well though.
