I'm thinking of my grandmother while watching these episodes. We used to watch Corrie together. I joined the Army that December, and I'm imagining her watching these alone, but for me, it's the first time seeing them. It's a strange feeling thinking she had watched these videos 29 years ago without me. Every commercial, I can see in my minds eye her getting up for a cupa tea.

I believe Ken actually bought the house from Uncle Albert so that Albert's daughter Beattie could have her inheritance as money, rather than claiming the house as her own. Deirdre crying is like she just flips a switch, screws her face up and does that thing with her neck 😬 ...not an emotion in sight... tbh it reminded me of Amber Heard in court 😶

Exactly - who in their right mind would still wear that immediately recognisable look of The Yorkshire Ripper?!? Freaky and creepy.

Sorry Curly but the North Star or Polaris as we call it is about 50 times the mass of our sun so if Raquel's star is only 3 million miles away which is impossible its gonna get slapped, hard,🤣

Almost every other word out of Dreary's mouth, before, during and after her marriage to Shammie, is about how old she looks. This is what happens when an older woman marries a much younger man. And it will only get worse. How can she not see it? This tends to only work in that direction - with women and their boy toys. Because our society assesses aging women and standards of beauty very differently from aging men.

On what planet would you rush to marry someone (without doing any research on the immigration process) because you think marriage is a magic bullet against their deportation?
