The McDonalds' house will never be the McDonalds' house. It may have a had a lick of paint, and some chic furniture added to brighten things up, but it will always be Elsie Tanner's house to me, with that red dial phone of hers, and her green kitchen cupboards. It was dark, a bit dingy, and absolutely fantastic. What a wonderful force of nature she was, in comparison to this wishy washy, vanilla family.

that like saying Kevin and sally house will always be Hilda and stan with the Muriel's and round table and Charles and di plate hung up on the wall. but the mc Donalds were able to act not like todays ones who occupy the house now. on the street whoever the are. since I haven't seeing it in years.

Don really has an undying grudge against Mike for sure. He is not the nice person he used to be at all. Such a sad man and grudge holding ever since the last poker game.

I agree about Don, not a pleasant character. Although it did turn my stomach how hard and vicious Mike was over that poker debt. Not letting Don and Ivy pay it off bit by bit, knowing that Ivy worked for him and didn't earn a lot and that Don couldn't earn at all without the car. It seemed very cruel.

​​@@tazzie2shoos yes, but what people seem to forget is that even when Mike has done a favor or be lenient on his employees and friends they never have a good thing to say about him. Even with Hilda, when Mike hired her to clean his house when the factory girls kicked her out and the many times he lent her money. Hilda still had so many bad things to say behind Mike's back, another one is Vera slagging off Mike's wife even when Mike hired her back. No doubt if mike forgave the poker game loss, Don would be going around the Rover's telling everyone that Mike is nothing but a softie. All a bunch of hypocrites imho. I am glad Mike managed to steal Don's order.

Yep, you can’t miss that voice. He plays one of the MacGregor Brothers before he becomes Peter Ingram. Mike married his widow, Jackie to get control of the business. They weren’t able to get him and the half brother to star in The Brothers MacGregor.
