I just came in here to say that. Bet wormed her way into that trip and stated she was gone get rid of Mavis in the very beginning. Neither of them wanted to do what Mavis suggested, made fun of her and bang. She had the most amazing time, loved it!!!

Thanks for uploading these episodes of Corrie. The older ones are much better than the tripe churned out today. Corrie taught me that the main achievement in life for residents was to get married and have a 2 up 2 down house and go to the pub umpteen times a week and be a nosy neighbour poking their nose into others' business. I wouldn't want to live there but I'm enjoying their drama!

I've been binge-watching these marvellous Corrie years from 1978 and loving them (thanks PG66). But I have to admit I'm finding the Claytons/Terry Duckworth storyline a bit tedious. Shame.

He was essentially good hearted, so it's a shame the writers changed his character in later episodes. He had become cold and hard. He'd been through a lot, but earlier Mike wasn't cold.

I used to work in a bakery many years ago which involved making sandwiches and baguettes and serving customers on the counter. There was a customer who worked in the bookshop near the bakery who would always have a sausage roll and a doughnut!

Yes, December is coming I'm 100% sure of that, as are 99 or maybe 97% of my viewers. Those other 3% who find it hard to follow through to end on a logic conclusion by using certain clues like words, spellings, use of the months, years and so on... Usually have to ask.

The guy with Bet, is Gary Raymond, who played the villain and traitor, Acastus in, Jason and the Argonauts...Mavis and her superior attitude is annoying...She's got no right moralising towards anyone...Neither has Betty for that matter...I saw the episodes with, "My Cyril" a few months ago...He was a pompous bore. And he was forced to leave the force for beating someone up...
