Agreed. Now that I’m older and more easily bored, it’s nice to look back at where my first wife got her witless bloody ideas about the world from. It’s madness in a bottled bag of frogs on a rice crispie bobbing along on a perilous journey across the garden pond. What’s the fascination though? Nosiness? We do enjoy a bit of drama and gossip going on a few doors down though don’t we? I do, I never used to, but I do now.

Edit: Oh right - the profile picture - yeah, good question, what *IS* going on there with him exactly? 🤷‍♂️

Sarah Lancashire, unlike so many other soap-stars, actually acts the character of Raquel and went on to play some excellent roles in many other TV dramas; her acting ability was always far too good to stick around and be typecast. So many other stars simply recite their lines, they don’t act as such, it’s more of a demonstration of memory and then when you watch them being interviewed, it’s almost as if they’re doing it whilst still in-character - sadly though, many of them aren’t, because they just can’t, which may explain why they make their entire professional acting career portraying just one single character, or if they’re ‘fortunate’, they bounce from one soap to another as if they’re visiting from the original soap they started in. There’s many that can act and do, but they’re the minority. Wow - why do I even care?? 🤷‍♂️ We all behave like that anyway - it’d be nice to get paid for just being yourself on TV though, and perhaps that’s why reality TV stars become celebrities just by being on screen for a few short weeks.

1989 But watched some from Early 80s to mid 80s And 1970s look very dated that era, But the 1960s in colour are great to see, Seeing a young Kenny Barlow 👱Still a smug twat in them days LOL 😀

I started from Jan 1980 when all the greats were still in it. I’ve been hooked on it all over again for past 2 years. You can’t beat Classic Corrie!
