Never gonna happen sister until our civilisation collapses, these companies are rich because of these practices and incentivise politicians to maintain the kinds of laws that allow them to act in this way.

i would prefer to live my life not out of fear of god

@@nkk_23 Fear isn't necessarily a bad emotion, it's useful to our survival just like worry and sadness. Fear of God in particular stops us from doing stupid things when no one is watching, and for people of power who feel they are not accountable to anyone. Of course, nothing is good in excess. Neither are we expected to fear God in excess.

@@maryamwaqar7648 of course i see where you’re coming from, but my problem lies in your sentence “fear of god stops us from doing stupid things”. the definition of a “stupid thing” is SO different across the world, which is when religions start making these restrictive rules that make me feel like i’m not living my life for myself but for some god that may or may not be watching and evaluating my every move.

@@nkk_23 I get what you mean. Unfortunately spiritual abuse is very common. People focus more on the right and wrong than actually getting to know God. Religion isn't supposed to make you arrogant.
