Congratulations! Don’t be afraid of letting children change you. It’s an honour to be someone’s mother. It’s hard work, and that’s what you hear when people are in the midst of mothering. It’s a huge overwhelming task at times. That’s why Allah says Jannah is under your mamas feet. This is your Jannah work. Raising kids will change you, exhaust you and that’s okay. You are not meant to be 20something forever. In raising them you grow. And that’s a good thing. An important thing.

Congratulations! I’m in the thick of it, I got married around the same time as you, then had 2 babies in two years. I’m definitely just a mom now, I literally have no time or capacity to do anything outside of my kids for the time being. However, I believe this is temporary - as they grow and become more self reliant it gives us room to find ourselves again (I hope). I was also hit hard by Gaza; I believe that has changed me just as much as motherhood did.

Love every single content of yours and can't wait to witness your new journey(s). Wish you all the best!! ❤

Oh my goodness Tazzy, thank you for sharing this video. I appreciate your vulnerability so much. And congrats on your pregnancy and growing family! You hit a lot of hard topics in this video, but what really stood out to me was how much you want to make a difference through your work and videos. That is something I’ve been asking of myself as well. As artists and creators we want to feel empowered to create work that is true to ourselves, but also makes a difference to the world. But those two things can be at odds. I really hear you and I just want to say your videos have had a huge impact on me. I’ve watched your videos and felt so validated to know I’m not the only one going through those experiences as a South Asian woman. Your thoughts are insightful, and have helped me think through things in a new way. At the end of the day, make whatever content you want to make. Make whatever gives you excitement and meaning. The views and likes and people will come and go and that’s fine. I think you’re doing amazing work! All the best and just know that you have some big supporters out there in the world

Congrats on both your impending new arrival & the exciting developments with your comedy pilot!! 🥳 What a lot of big exciting stuff you have been juggling. I feel like questioning 'where-to-next' is a very sensible & natural response to such big shifts! (Even before factoring in difficult global current events as well 😢) I feel like having a strong support network & being willing to reach out to them is super-important in trying to maintain some over-all life balance as a parent & not have parenting become the only thing a person does or is? A number of my rellies & friends as first-time-mums seemed to really struggle to reach out for help or to relinquish any responsibility for their little ones. Possibly from uncertainty &/or not wanting to miss anything, but I saw it really take a toll on their energy, health, and partner relationships. Hope you have good networks of loved ones you feel confident accepting support from, so that you can continue a well-rounded and healthy life as a parent! 🫶

Congrats!! Wishing you and your baby the best of health! I think all of the fears and questions you mentioned are so universal. From what I've seen in the few friends I have that are mothers identity is definitely challenged but if you face it as a transformation and have support as a mother it can be an overall good experience. I find children are best at navigating tough emotions or watching their parents go through hard times when they can speak as honestly as possible and try to get through things as a family. It's natural to want to protect your child from difficult and scary things. Just know you're doing your best when you acknowledge those things, have support for yourself, and a safe space for your child to talk/express about how they feel. It's really all we can do most of the time. Anyway! Whatever you chose to do I have always enjoyed following you for both your humor and your ability to ask tough questions and open dialog about things that are important. Can't wait to see what you have in store for the future.

Congratulations!! My 2 cent perspective on people's social media consumption habits: I have found that similar how to a content creator's channel evolves over the years based on their evolution, so do consumers' habits. There was a time when I would watch all your videos the day they were posted and I really enjoyed your "storytime" videos. When this particular video popped up on my feed, I realized that I haven't seen any of your stuff in probably a couple of years. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate you anymore, it's just that my own life has evolved so much that my priorities/habits/interests have changed. But those videos from the past created a bond or a community like you mentioned, and that sense of community is why I and many others who have followed your journey over the years are so happy and excited for you!

Tazzy i think we tend to underestimate the impact the things we do have on the society, and you're doing the same thing. Your channel has so much potential, in fact, it's already starting to bloom, you can't see it. Even though the pace at which you're going is slow as compared to other channels, but i don't think that's your goal, your goal is to have impact, which isn't in your hands to begin with. It's the intention, the sincerity that's in our hands, the results, the fruits the tree will bear is in Allah's hands, whiCh fruit will benefit whiCH person, how long it's going to benefit them, they're all controlled by Allah. It's okay to have a persona online, as long as you're not attached to it, And if youre having a difficult time having to detach from it, ask Allah's help, that's what I've been doing, I've been waking up an hour before fajr, just to talk to Allah about all of this, my identity crisis, my goals, my doubts, my worries, and even though I haven't seen the solutions *yeT*, it feels as if a burden has been lifted off of me, everytime I practice this.
@Btsarmy-ng1pl14 күн бұрын
These blocks are designed specifically for you, by a part of yourself that loves you more than you could ever love yourself. I'm talking about the rooh, Allah has made everything with a purpose, hoW that purpose manifests as itself, wheN, wheRe, at what pace, is already written, worrying about it isn't going to make it come faster. Trust your handles to guide you, bc there's so much we don't know about how the world works, and sometimes all you need to do is close your eyes and take a leap of faith.

First of all: congratulation!! You look so beautiful and I'm so happy for you 😍🥳 Hearing you think about what this channel is for, I wanna tell you about what you brought to my life: Some years ago I realised I was following mostly and exclusively white people content (I'm a white spanish young woman). I didn't like that so I made a big effort to fight the algorithm and bring more diversity into my life. For example, I'm vegan and it made absolutely no sense to just have white people talking me about veganism. When I found you I instantly fell in love with your sense of humor and your stories. (Also important not to tokenize people so I continuously look for more people cause algorithm is stubborn but I'm more XD ) I have learn so so much about muslim women experience and realities. Very important to understand that even though, we are women and get hit by the "same" patriarchal society, every minoty has their own struggles and help me see the world with wider eyes. I remember a video you did about finding a partner (family advice VS dating complete strangers from an app) and that was so funny cause at the end, seen you talking about us (f.e. waiting for our man to ask us to marry them almost by surprise) made me realise the nonsense of it all XD So not only did I learn about other realities, you made me rethink about my own and enrich who I'm immensely. Also seeing you being so brave to not just look for success but also alignment with who you are as a person is so powerful and encouraging. So even though your main goal may not be educating white ignorants XD I wanted to thank you for sharing so much over the years cause you made a big difference in my life. I have no religion and no plan to have babies but I'm here for everything Tasneem! I'll follow wherever you go, for as long as you feel creating and sharing. Best of luck with Wooden Spoons! I'm eager to see it cause you are very VERY talented and I'm sure I'll love it. I'll be thinking about your round belly, soon to be a little beautiful mini person and wish all the best for your family❤

Allahumabarik soooo happy for Tazzy! I became a mother on the first of January this year and 10 months in I’m still figuring out who I am, my new identity etc. I still am a teacher, a creative, a good daughter, friend, sister, cousin, wife etc. but yes the identity shift is HUGE and not in a negative way. But in a super primal way, our brains literally change to put the safety of our baby first…it’s wild 😅♥️ but beautifully designed by Allah swt imo

There is absolutely nothing wrong with “loosing” who you are, once you’re a mom you will always be a mom first, fully embrace it and that’s good that you are talking about not making your kid feel like a burden because many of us do that without even realizing. Be a selfless mom we will be rewarded for it eventually. The only thing kids want is you, your time, and your attention, all the other little details are really not as important
