I chanced upon your channel recently and have been binge watching since. I'm amazed by your quality content!! This channel needs more subscriptions.

This looks excellent. I like the thesis that the reason you need to hold for 3 mins is that when you're holding posture it's a long slog. Only thing I'd add is that for people in upper cross typically have pelvic tilt and excess lordosis (like me). When doing this make sure you cue the hips/glutes/hams so your belly doesn't touch the floor.

This exercise is legit. Pull-ups, rowing, deadlifts etc...all that stuff is great but it still won't solve certain postural problems or strengthen every single muscle.

her confused reaction at 2:56 haha Good vid though. I see a lot of these prone cobra instructional videos that don't emphasize the chin tuck and by the time the demo model is on rep 5, they've got their chin up like an LA cholo with his headband too low.

Quick question, do I keep my feet touching the group or am I supposed to lift them too? I thought I was supposed to hold a position as if I was balancing on my stomach but it looks like feel are still touching the ground here. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right.
@alfiedunn6072 жыл бұрын
Im aware this is late but you could probably lift your legs until they exhaust, then keep the shoulders up until they do too. Vice versa aswell - keeping your legs up works your erector spinae

I dont work for mindpump but I would assume, with their style with trigger sessions, you should do it on off days.

Can you do this weighted?
@vids16613 жыл бұрын
I feel like you could but I would focus on trying to get to the 3min mark as she explained; more time under tension will help build endurance, which will better transfer over to your posture.
