@JanbluTheDerg Жыл бұрын
Surprisingly spot on about the book series lol. The morphs were never described as hurting (just having a distant feeling like you know it's supposed to hurt) but they are described as being absolutely horrifying, so horrifying that the characters prefer to look away from each other lest they scream in horror or vomit at the sight. They would also occasionally lose their ability to scream mid-morph if the animal didn't have the vocal chords to support it (a common occurrence given that they turned into flies, fleas and cockroaches more time than they would have liked). The books also described the morphs as happening in random ways, that is, not everything at once. There were times when characters fell on their faces because they lost their legs mid-morph, and one of the characters was actually talented at morphing, being able to control how she morphs (like one time where she lost her wings last coming out of bird morph so she looked kinda angelic doing so) Aside from the morphing, as other comments mentioned, it's a surprisingly dark series about alien invasions, child soldiers, not knowing who you could trust, genocide, body horror, moral ambiguity, bodysnatchers, guerilla warfare, and of course, how freaking cool the animal kingdom is.

Including the hard covered solo books. The TV series was a let down because it was so slow paced and needed a larger budget. Anyway I tried to revive the stories digitally a few years ago and approached the morphs the same way Wren did. It was cool to see you guys do it in 3D. I still plan to work on a VR version of one of the books and would like to take a similar approach to the morphs as you guys, but maybe a little higher fidelity. Would love to see you guys take on a serious animal morph with a animated character moving into the morph and then continuing the animation. Also maybe morphing parts separately like a werewolf in AWW in London. Would like to see how high a quality you guys can do.

Jordan’s reaction was absolutely priceless. 😂👌🏼 And 10pts to Nick for the hair, one salt and pepper man to another.

Wren is a cat. A cat with fragile collar bones... But a bird works too since they have hollow bones. Every episode inlove Jordan more and more. Dude is just so funny.

The sound clips are by far the best part of this video. Love you all, but those sound effect recordings were pure wizardry.
