I feel like Wren always has a somewhat different idea of what's satisfying than what people usually consider. The cutting cloth or fabric idea is good but it should have been in the context of a tailor, like a very measured and clean cut. Especially since that also makes a much softer, pleasant sound. Could have been paper cutting too, and folding it over itself to start the loop again

In all fairness, "satisfying" is kind of biased in nature. I LOVEEEEE how Wrens render sounded. I think that clean cut scissor to paper sound is way less satisfying then tearing fabric. @didnt_ask_for_handle2 жыл бұрын
@@armpit_farts7327 A sharp extendo blade through a folded paper is very satisfying. Unlike scissors it's one continous swish sound. It's usually easier than using scissors too. And then you can make the animation form something with the cut up pieces before looping

Jordan's had the potential to be the most satisfying, but I didn't like the sound design, and I thought it would be better if the net had physics and made the "swish" sound-I didn't like how the balls kind of bounced around instead of just dropping right through. I actually found Clint's to be the most satisfying, mainly because of the sound design and the pacing of the loop; the perfect rotations and landings on the tricks truly felt satisfying. I thought Wren's loop was kind of clunky, and because the cloth tears messily instead of cuts cleanly it isn't very satisfying-the sound design was nice though. Fenner had a good concept, but I don't think it was executed very well.

I'd agree that Wren's is the least satisfying...unevenly cutting fabric with a dull knife could win the unsatisfying challenge lmao. Whats weird (or maybe not?) is that I also thought of scissors on paper during this video. Specifically, scissors on wrapping paper. That sweet, clean, basically perfect glide rushes dopamine to my brain. Conversely, for the next Unsatisfying challenge, imagine a really nice scissor glide interrupted by a snag. Bleh.
