"Hell's Blender" 2 teams. tasked to create an animated loop scene through a typical animation pipeline. Judging: Textures and models, animation, story, composition, and lighting. Stage 1: Instead of just downloading assets. Do a scavenger hunt with Asset USBs around the office, or outside. They have a certain amount of time to find as many USBs as they can. Stage 2: They have a 10 minute planning to prep what they're going to do. (Or no prep, each member of the pipeline goes in blind to what the previous person completed) Stage 3: Random Challenge out of a hat. Write down a bunch of challenges to make the process harder and put them in a hat. Who ever is working has to draw out of the hat and complete the challenge while working on the project. (examples: holding an spoon with an egg on the end in their mouth while they work, for 15minutes or something, or instead of a chair they have to use a exercise ball, or change the mouse DPI or sensitivity really high, etc) Stage 4: Final render and winner decision. Winners get gift cards to a nice restaurant while the loosers have to clean all the bathrooms and entire facility. This really got my create juices goin. haha. Love the new show guys!
