You learned several things at this meeting. Russ was aware of the two missed meetings rule. Richard's loyalty is with Russ. Don is willing to fight to keep Russ on the council. The new Mayor is pushing forward regardless of Don and Russ , and she is not afraid to face either of them. Bravo Madam Mayor!

We here in El Campo Texas was like that twice but after a long hard fight we are about to celebrate our 120th year we went from The Camp to Pierce/Dodge City to El Campo Texas and now we have over 20,000 people. Once you get the corruption and illegal doings out of the town then it will grow and it will grow like a wild flower in spring. El Campo was just like Otter Creek in 1835 to 1900 and from 1905 to now its been growing I hope Otter Creek will do the same it's not the big city's that makes this country great it the small uncorrupes town that makes this country great and otter Creek is on the right path now

If Don wanted an application form, he should have asked at the previous meeting at which it was decided to invite resumes. Simples. Town should consider recovery action for monies negligently or purposely lost due to Mary's actions, and possibly the actions of councillors.

Don, who didn't have a problem with paying THREE people to (not) do the clerks job,....Don, who can't be bothered to show up to anything other than the once a month meetings....doesn't think anyone should get paid for doing the job now. If a cut-off date has been set, can resumes be emailed to each council member? That way they weed out some of the people they may not want before they into meeting. That would save so much time for everyone. I did this for faculty at state institution I worked for.

It deserved so much more than it was getting from its officials; it’s reputation should be of inclusion not division. The council’s honesty, transparency, credibility and integrity should be what others think of first when recalling their elected officials. where we can all agree corruption is how past official where thought of. Scary to think Don and Russ will have a say in who get hired. If the best person for the job is hired but has issues with these men pushing their weight around who know what mess they can make. I hope they will never have the ability to interfere in their position. Can’t wait for the rest of the meeting!

To be honest, I never knew Odder Creek was the original Florida land What the Hale$ purchased until recently. 😳 I realized it about a month ago! 😆 I have been watching What the Hale$ for years! I just don't want to know some personal details of you all. 💜 I was shocked when I figured it figured it out! 😮 But in all honesty it doesn't surprise me with all the stuff you/The Hale$ went through when you moved in. Property lines, fires and druggies. I am so happy you got involved and stood up for everyone there! I am invested.
