I'm really late on this game because I waited on the physical copy and had to wait for Christmas vacation because I just don't have a lot of time to play games anymore with my job. Can a bridge of spirits is very close to being my game of the year. Such a well-done game.

Thanks man, but honestly, if you can beat it on any level you can beat it on master. Master is more punishing but the mechanics don't really change so yeah, I think you can do it all the way from Poland! 😉

Unless you're going for the platinum, just do it on story mode. The whole fight is exactly the same just less punishing/frustrating.

@@lukate3588 I'd do story mode if not going for platinum. The fight mechanics are the same, only reduced (ie. less shots to down the big boss). This game had the perfect level of difficulty for me personally. Definitely had some flaws but overall a great experience. Can’t believe this game was 40 bucks. I could have paid 60 and felt like I got my money’s worth

played expert mode at Version 1.016.. but i always end up with one free filled circle opposite as what mentioned in 6:40 .. not sure if this is due to the latest version upgrade or because I was at level 5 (5 circles) when I do the last boss.. thus, i skip the parry part and go directly behind the boss to activate the rot skill on one of its blades

It’s funny how the final boss is one of the easiest in the game. The hardest boss imo was Corrupt Woodsmith. Took me hours to beat that bastard.

I almost hate this game JUST because of thus boss and it's bullshit mechanics. The fact that you can't heal until the second phase, and getting easily cheap shotted by weak enemies makes this one of the worst boss fights I've ever experienced. I feel like it is just plain unfair, and requires some level of luck to beat. All other bosses were fair and reasonable.

I feel ya. There is a bit of luck in this fight, but mostly in phase 3 where there are lots of minions. The rest before that can be pretty much no damaged consistently once you practice it a bit. I'd definitely recommend checking out my master difficulty guide on this (kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJutaJtvarqCr7M) as maybe it's a bit better than my expert guide since I knew the fight better when I start it on master. Basic mechanics are the same so the approach works on any other difficulty. My other recommendation is to not try to beat it as much as try to master the first few phases. Once you can sail through those without a problem, as frustrating as repeating them may be, you'll find the final phase easier as the stress of doing the first few phases will be gone. I'm stuck on this on Master difficulty... get right through to the last phase without being hit and then I just can't get anything going.. that parry at the start of that last phase is so crucial to giving you a leg up by the looks and I just can't get it. Spent 3 hours doing this fight tonight.. ugh... and it takes so long each time to get to the last part, so annoying.

Yep, that parry would be key I think, though I haven't done this on master yet. I can imagine how frustrating it's going to be. Only just beat the first few bosses on master so it's a while away for me yet. Good luck and take many breaks!

Am I retarded or phase 3 is not clear enough for players in terms of what to do?? Also it didn't helped that I played on Expert Difficulty and whenever you're dying you have to redo everything. It just frustrated me to the point of coming here on KZbin to check what to do in phase 3. Thank you for the video.

Nah man you're not a dumb ass. Phase 3 is tricky to work out from the start. Once you know about putting Rot on the spears on its back (when it rears up) then it becomes a trial of staying alive and getting a courage point to pull a spear out of his back when the chance is there. Failing and having to repeat all previous phases is a pain, but that's the way it is on all difficulties. That's why I like to try and get that immediate parry at the start of phase 3, as there's a lot lower chance of failing if you don't also have to deal with the fire bombs and fire rings. Good luck!
