After watching this, I immediately went online and ordered heated mirrors to replace. Finally received it a week later. Impatiently I went straight to pull off the old mirror. Lo and behold, There were already heated mirrors on the car, I never knew because there is no separate button to operate them. They work with the rear defroster button. 22 euro down the drain. :) Well not really. I replaced them with the new ones anyway. :D

you could just use the window motor ground wire already in the door and splice the ground into it, saving one less wire to run through the connectors.

Hello Tom, I watch your videos and are very very helpful , you do a nice job. I just finish install on my corsa D front fog lights and cruise control. The only thing wich i can’t do it with Opcom is to do the setup , apparently don’t show me all that options when try to change variant configuration. The cruise control i setup already on engine module , but i can’t on Body and Instrument. Were do you think can be the problem? Maybe Opcom? Thanks

Your crimping job was unfortunately not 100 % correct. The seal/gasket for the connector around the cable has to be crimped with the cable onto the connector. Each crimp contact has two different sized tabs which grabs the outer cable insulation and the other one grabs the striped copper cable for conducting the current. The round seal/gasket should be crimped onto the bigger tab which would hold the outer cable insulation when you do not use a seal/gasket. Anyway nice job!! I will do the same thing on my corsa d in the summer. Also I will fitting heated seats, dimming mirror, rain sensor, new interior lamp, heated steering wheel, maybe rear speakers, and pre wiring fog lights, park pilot... Everything as original as possible... Thinking about filming videos about it in German.

So it maybe that the element has broke inside of the mirrors. They do burn out, but it's cheap enough to buy the glass

@@TomsDriveway what I meant was I have bought heated mirrors and fitted them, the wiring harness of the doors matches up to that of the mirrors etc but it doesnt come on with the rear window? Thanks

Do you know how can i disable the seat belt chime? It activates even if i have the seatbelt on and it's quite annoying at some times when travelling long distances because it activates at random times. Can it be disabled in opcom?

It's different glass, it has an element built into it. Sorry I didnt show that i just forgot to record it

Its not a hard job you would need a diagnostic tool to manually add it, pretty easy to do. You can also use the tool to add a bigger display.
