saying its not good for esports is bad to say. i use mine for smite and league and it helps at a very large amount, having it weigh less doesnt help at all for me and not for alot of people i play with.

Good review! Can you reach and click the lower dpi button with thumb? edit: I wish more reviews explained certain details with reference to other products, like when you compared the scroll wheel other mice. It's super useful.

it would depend how big your hands are I guess. Personally, having just tried it myself, I could just about get it on there but it was a big stretch for me and not something I'd want to do in the middle of a game for instance.

does it matter where you put the 2.4ghz usb receiver (2.0 or 3.0 usb?) I've put it currently on the mouspad but as you said this is a 2.0 usb. Does it lose quality in comparison with 3.0?

Can you use the USB transmitter to connect more than 1 device like mouse and keyboard? Or is it one transmitter for one device?

KM Wong one transmitter per device I'm afraid. I tried using the same dongle for the K63 Wireless as well but it doesn't work

Regarding the DPI buttons on the top, can they be used for macro buttons/shortcut buttons or not.

Hi Have heard several times that the mouse wheel from the Dark core rgb is very weird to turn. (it should not lock properly, spongy etc.) Can you confirm it? And did you compare the mouse wheel with another mouse?

the mouse wheel is fine but isn't as solid as logitechs g633. the wheel is also too hard to press for my taste

The damn thing is really picky about where you place it. make sure the back of the mouse is on the circle of the charge mat. The qi charger is on the back. The fact that it is so picky / sensitive about placement makes it pretty useless. I charge it through the cable more often. Pretty pissed off tbh. That charge mat was not cheap... and paid more for the SE too!

Logitech G602. Still the king of wireless mice. But this (for the first time) comes close.

The 900 series are shit. Get back to me when they have more buttons and a battery life worth a damn. Plus their ergonomics are objectively inferior to the G602 for the 90% of us who are right-handers.

Gotta agree, especially for casual gaming and productivity. I think it got a bad rap because it's too heavy and still has tiny lag for professional gamers, that's why people like the g403/g900. But hey, we finally got more decent wireless stuff, which is nice :)

The G602 is superior for having more buttons, but the G903 and G703 are superior in terms of performance. It really depends what your priorities are, but having used the G602, G903 and G703, the G703 is my favorite of the bunch. If I needed more buttons, I could see using the G602, but the wireless performance on that mouse is locked to 500HZ polling and is noticeably laggy compared to the LightSpeed wireless.

You forgot to mention that the mouse get very hot while charging on the mm1000 and that it won’t connect while hot, so enjoy waiting for it to cool for it to work, also the battery life is really 12hrs not 24. Mm1000 is a waste of money just use the wire to charge mouse. Better yet don’t waste your time with any of these products there is a reason why corsair discontinued the mouse etc! Other thoughts - stop giving bs reviews just to get free gear! It’s old and over played.
