Got these after having all the logitech headsets. While I left logitech after the G935 because they didn’t support Dolby anymore. Tried these and love them. Battery life isn’t near as good as a Logitech but the sound is great. Comparable to a G933 with Dolby

Guys, for the best audio with the Corsair HS80, click on the headphone image in the iCUE equalizer settings, and switch it from Stereo, to Dolby Audio. Then set equalizer to Pure Direct. Then go to your sound options in windows control panel, and set audio to 24-bit 96Khz for the HS80. You'll thank me later 😉.

@@TheVoiceOfReason It’s pretty darn good. Feels amazing, Soinds amazing, my friend asked if i got a desktop mic because of the insane sound quality. Only problem is the charging, you will need to charge it about every other day if you use it frequently.

I got this as a gift for online class and for playing video games and so far audio and mic wise its really good although the battery life gets consumed really fast during my class hours and leads to me charging my headset 2 times a day. (Well charging while using it not sure if that deteriorates the battery life)

Yes, i have OCD and these look so Clean i am needing a better headset for apex/listening in general, my razer headset can cause me extreme pain as my connective tissue doesn’t repair well and any damage suffered from long listening sessions with Too Tight of cans is gonna leave me writhing in agony. So while i’ll keep looking and asking i have always liked corsair products but have never directly bought anything from them. Thanks for reviewing things ❤️

this in terms of price for quality. this headset is definitely better than the virtuoso in terms of mic quality as well as comfort. but if you have the money for the a50, it’s very good.

So i just bought these the other day, when I connect the usb-c cable i get great sound. As soon as I remove the cable and go wireless mode the audio sound is very hallow / echoy. Never tried the v3 but I have these hs80 and their amazing definitely worth the price tag their £140 here in the uk but I got them a few days ago for £99.98 on spring sale on Amazon and I don’t regret it,Best gaming headset I’ve owned and I’ve had quite a few different headsets,Amazing mic quality and sound great and are very comfortable,it’s the most comfortable headset I’ve owned

@@Morphe2784 I actually bought a pair during the black Friday sales and returned it literally after a week as I couldn't get the mic to work as well. Another thing that added to it was the clamp force from the headband, it was way too strong, I couldn't wear it for more than 10 minutes.

I bought the HS80 RGB Wireless, and I am not impressed-- at all. I use them for Dragon Speak in MS Word because I'm not a gamer. I do a lot of writing. The headphones shuts down during my reading and writing after about 6 minutes. I often have to power them on again to keep working. I don't like them. Yes, they are fully charged and have no reason to shut down during a 5- or 6-minute pause. They are defiantly overpriced hands down. I do disagree with the review. Frankly, my review is they are okay. Not "good", as he says, he also characterized them as "nice". I do agree they are "nice"-- whatever that means to you. The strap fitting design is just jackass stupid and makes you wonder how to clean them. Wear and tear is on the way with the dumb elastic band. I think Corsair got it right with the earlier versions such as the 7.1 yellow limited edition with the wireless USB extension. Even used on ebay and amazon they are going for 200+ bucks. They don't sell that kind anymore. What a shame because there is a demand for them, and I want to buy. Don't buy this crap, buy something else.

Did you adjust the power saving mode in the icue software? They otherwise will turn off after a set time with it being a wireless headset.
