This is an actually the best recommended mouse for Final Fantasy XIV players in JPN region too. They have stock issue at one time and people was bidding the price where it went sky rocketed like crazy. Good intro!

Original version is Logitech G600 it has 3 more buttons (left and right Tilt scroll wheel and 3rd mouse button on the right side) but it might be hard to find because its old model.

I'm using the Razer Naga V2 Hyperspeed gaming mouse which operates on either bluetooth or 2.4GHz. While it's powered by a single double AA battery I kind of prefer that over using wireless mouse with a built-in rechargeable battery. It's so easy to change out the double AA battery. I owned the Razer Naga V2 going for 9 days now and the double AA battery just now hit 54% using it multiple hours per days. I figure I can get nearly 2 weeks out of a single double AA battery. Last December I bought a 100 pack of Double AA battery's off Amazon for $20 US dollars. Now it gives me a reason to start to use them little more than I have been. lol

Yoh.. I'm a true mobile and ps4 and ps5 controller gamer. I just bought a damn pc, monitor, keyboard and this crazy mouse ! I still don't f know what I was thinking. My soul left my body yoh cuz I cant even use a laptop !! I am SSSOOOOO USED to controllers. I don't know what I'm gonna do ! I need a hug from you right now !

Just ordered this nice lookin thing for 60€ here in germany, cause funny thing aside, i had a razer naga trinity for over 2 years, but on mine the leftclick broke and thats a common issue on this series also. Seems like the build quality on the naga series is pretty bad q.q and i hope the corsair fits my hand and grip, but i guess it will with the movable sidepad :)

@@User107D i've already swapped back to a new razer naga pro for 99€. i've had problems with my wrist while using the corsair for a while (i'm very sensitive due to prior injuries), which i did not have with razers trinity design. they also got optical switches tho. but other than that the corsair mouse was great, just the iCue software s*cked^^

how does it feel as compared to playing on a wireless. as far as moveability does it feel like the cable gets in the way at all I also been playing on a wireless naga

I haven't had any issues with its cable! But may take someone time to get used to if they have been playing wireless for a while.

One question still on my mind, like I wanna know if the Scimitar is compatible to the newest iCUE Verion , which is Version 4+ I believe, or do you still run the mouse on an older iCUE Version? the point is, I got mostly corsair components in my pc and peripherals in my setup, just wanna know if I don't need to downgrade my iCUE Software to match or interfer the compatibility of all my corsair products

late to the party but I used to have the same issue,from what I got this product suffer from their software Icue which is hella buggy. Try updating the iCue,replugging the mouse or reboot your PC

Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite Wireless is much better. It has usb-c cable, supports Bluetooth and Radio wireless mode, has long life battery.

@@SarahJaneTTV I think the bulk of the mouse. Honestly I can’t judge the buttons too much since it was a display one and we couldn’t adjust the placement, though the buttons do feel bigger which makes it more awkward to maneuver and pressing them felt a bit more forced.

I use the wireless one now and love it! Only issue I had with wired one was the scroll wheel becoming faulty. No issues with wireless one so far

@@SarahJaneTTV I been eyeballing this mouse for some time and saw them the other day on Amazon and went ahead and grabbed it....not sure if it's an isolated incident or something to do with newer icue software, but the mouse loses lighting as soon as I launch Icue. Hopefully I can figure it out. Tried updating, reinstalling Icue, uninstalling Armory Crate (Asus PC), adding the Asus Icue Plugin, and nothing. Sucks I'll be losing some functionality to both the mouse and Corsair keyboard if I decide to sick with this mouse and can't resolve the issue lol guess we'll see. I did pick up the wired version as a preference so if anyone else with a wired version having/hed issues similar, feel free to comment >

Almost grabbed the Naga V2 Pro off of Amazon but thought I'd give it one more go...sure enough under the new Icue revision notes, it lists some people having issues with some of t he Scimitar mice. As a work around until another patch I assume, you simply lower the lighting intensity to 33%🤣 Sure enough it worked! So if anyone else has a hesitation or is currently experiencing this issue, from Icue Home, click on the image of your mouse, go to the setting cog wheel and drag the Brightness slider down to 33%. To clarify, click the setting icon that just to the right of the name of your mouse on the mouse's page and your set!👍Had the Naga offer lighting on the keypad(from the video on their Amazon shop it didn't), this may have ended differently lol Cheers!

Do NOT buy this mouse! The mouse itself is great, but the software / drivers it uses are f***ing terrible garbage. The side buttons regularly stop working (and there is still no fix to this from Corsair) , it just randomly stops working (in games too). There are also issues where you cannot uninstall the drivers from your pc without registry editing. I've scowered forums to try and find more solid fixes for the issues this software has, but there is nothing. Do not buy.
