Check out the song “elephant talk” by king crimson. Adrian Belew does elephant sounds from his strat just like this video but that was in the early 80’s.

😂 Luckily didn't sound too upset an elephant. Was waiting to see if you'd do some slapping on this guitar. The bridge position sounds great for the funk stuff to me, especially the way you still hit it by the neck end. Very impressed at how good it keeps the tunning especially after you amended the stock set-up strings/springs. Brilliant!

tomo, this has nothing to do with this video but i was watching some of your content to how improve my solo, when you are improvising do you think of a specific scale like a penta or dorian etc or you just play what you think it would be sound good to you?

Off topic question. What is your honest opinion about the lava 3 guitar…. Do you think the (smart) guitar part of this guitar and its app is totally unfinished for the learner?they think the screen on the top is enough for learning and their app is little more than social media and it’s not designed to even be uses on an iPad, you know something you can actually see 1/2 m away when your practicing…

Hi, Tomo. It sounds very interesting. It's great when you can enjoy the sound and arrange various experiments with sound ....))) it's funny. In 2021, сhinese craftsmen created a new brand of guitars - Naga (released a flower series (S60 GAC, S80 GAS, SSJW-16 MK, SSJW-26 MK). Half a year ago they presented a flower series (in the amount of 5 guitars) at a presentation in Japan. If you had the opportunity to get acquainted with Naga guitars, what do you think about their sound? Thanks.

The string gauge of steel strings does not change the sound in a significant way. Heavier strings hurt your fingers for more for no audible or wear difference that matters. This is one of the myths of guitar playing. The string material matters more (for guitars that do not use magnet-based pickups, the coating matters more. The pickups, bridge, and guitar design and materials, and pick matter much more. The amp and speakers matter a lot more. The fingers and brain matter immeasurably more. Guitarists pass along to one another all sorts of ideas about gear that do not stand scrutiny. I do it myself, though I have tried to stop getting sucked into guitar lore in the last decade or so. Tens are not so bad, for needless weight (any higher is really silly - especially the .13 people), but I tested tens versus nines rigorously eleven years ago. I could find no difference on any measure in the tens but for the extra finger wear. No less breakage, no difference in tone or volume, etc. Ford’s sound is in his hands and mind, not his gear. Lots of guys play what he plays and sound like crap, complete with the Dumble. You sound like you on all the guitars you show. You have earned that.
