You know, it just hit me how many square inches of chrome one would have to keep spotless if chrome headers and side pipes were installed on my '73 454. That black looks pretty good and far more practical for a frequently driven ride.

my T bolts didn't line up for nothing, kept hitting the door . So I had to weld mine on. but now if I need to remove the side pipe, it always goes back on in the same place..

What kind of muffler do you have inside the side pipes? Reverse flow, glass pack or the least restrictive ?, Thanks Thomas from Denmark

I’ve got a glass pack style that has a straight through core so you can see straight through it. It’s the max flow muffler they offer for the side pipes without straight up straight pipping it. D952 is the part number I used. Sounds awesome! Loud when u want it to be and doesn’t drone you out.

I have a c3 with a built 396 I order a cooling system from engineered cooling that solved my problem Rad6718shddf. And I replaced my trans with a overdrive 2004r stag 2 grand national Tran 70 Mhp 2200 rpm.1982 vette

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. ..._-(((
