Corey Henry has soooo many options to take when he plays and he always chooses the classiest ways to play a solo......
@markprater14 жыл бұрын
What's amazing about this band is that they are ALL World Class musicians, and instead of the arrogance or competition that would typically happen with all of this skill and talent assembled, they seem to inspire each other to raise their game to the next level, and enjoy seeing each other excel, individual, collectively and even with guest artists. Micheal League has created an all-time greatest band, considering how many moving parts there are.

This is why I like Casiopia. The Mint Jams album is full of moments where they're trading solos and playing around, having fun and helping each other be their best.

Mike and Corey deliver a masterclass at 1:21. Corey heads into his riff, Mike hears him extending melodic line and quickly changes his bass fill to a walking bass line that delivers them both safely back to the 1 chord. Legends are born when you can find that "zone" and spontaneously create what would take days or months to compose on paper.
