Anyways, Techno and Philza's friendship and familial fondness hits me hard in the SMP so I just wanted to do a lil something to explore it :).

Words cannot describe how much I adore the family dynamic. There’s just something so eerily heartwarming yet soul crushingly depressing looking back on everything that’s happened in context. Techno, Wilbur and Tommy didn’t just lose friends, they lost brothers, and there have been multiple times that has brought me to tears because I see so much of my own friendships in them. We had the same dynamic. I was the parent, the chaotic older sibling, the musically inclined middle child and the angry younger sibling. I’m only still in contact with one of them now, and who is that? The chaotic one. It’s honestly surprising how many parallels I’m able to see. Maybe it’s just destined fate with group dynamics like that. Anyway overall amazing work and can’t wait to see more

This is so perfect on so many levels. Their family dynamic is just so perfect for the collaborative RP, and their characters are portrayed so perfectly. Techno is the skilled one, who can be considered the "successful" one, but his success only brings him burden and exhaustion. Wilbur is the one who cares for his friends and family. Lmanberg was his brotherhood, and when he snapped, he snapped because nobody was caring about him enough. When he finally comes back to his senses, he accompanies Tommy to regain trust and build back his bridges to the easiest ones first, his family. Tommy. The "daft kid" acting up, always the center of attention. He's the youngest and considered the least skilled, leading to his outbursts. He hates techno because he has objectively more popularity than him despite seemingly not trying as hard. Wilbur is his other brother, and his last friend. Finally, Philza. The father, who had to watch each of his sons go to ruin. Techno was first, his skill bringing him great power and status, but at the cost of being imprisioned to defend his title constantly. Wilbur, who went mad when his brothers abandoned him and destroyed it all, guilt-ridden, forcing his father to kill him for retribution. And tommy. Exiled, despite his major presence, and left in ruin, with nothing left. It's a fitting name, "Exhaustion." The entire family is exhausted. Techno is tired of being the best and an instrument of violence, Wilbur is tired of not knowing who to trust, Tommy is tired of constantly being beaten down again and again and again, and Philza is tired of seeing his sons be subject to their misfortunes.

This is my bedtime story. Every night, when I crawl into bed, the last thing I do before I put my phone down is watch this animatic. It's soothing, not only because of the theme, or the audio, or even the fact that it's an animatic about rest, but because of the point made: In a scary world where everything and everyone is out to get you, you just need to remember that people still care about how you're doing, and they will always light the torch when your tunnel goes dark. I don't know if this is the feel you were going for, Cossy, but I would like to thank you for giving me the reassurance either way. Keep doing your thing.

this is so amazing i can't even quite put it into words you expanded upon their characters but in a way that feels very realistic, and i love the melancholy feelings you get from phil surrounding the situation his family is in (fractured into pieces, will they fix it or can they even fix it at this point??) the atmosphere of the video with the quiet background audio and occasionally a chuckle or sound pulled from them was really unique! and i cant even begin on the art!! everything you draw is super gorgeous, and i love the way the color shifts throughout the video, warm and intense to show the family moment occurring, and then shifting to less intense yellow and finally cool blue for tommy (and ghostbur) alone together also!! techno shifting from more pig like to slightly more human as he relaxed and fell asleep, coupled with him being more human in the family photo phil looked at (more human when he's happy and feeling good emotions or maybe just relaxed, and more pig-like when he is feeling bad emotions or conflicted etc??) was a super cool detail that really wow'ed me! this animatic is beautiful in more ways than one, and i'm so happy you made it!

This was amazing to watch. I liked seeing the short scene between Dadza and Techno. Dramatic scenes have their place but it's nice seeing this kind of animatic, even if it is a fan scene. I liked the sound design for this as well with the fire crackling and the small bits of their voices you were able to add. The scene was really sweet and wholesome; it made me smile. Great job.

It kind of reminds me of those rpg games where you don't hear the characters say their lines, but they only have sounds, like laughs or sighs. I love the entire setting. The warm lighting really goes with the crackle of the fireplace in the background. Even if it there wasn't much visually, the entire atmosphere was calming, and came across very clear. You could tell what was happening, you could tell what the movements were, and it was very fluid in that sense. I loved every single sound effect. I loved every noise you hear from the real phil and techno. Usually you would expect random audios like that to throw off the mood or make the viewers cringe a little. But you used them incredibly well. It was very smart timing and didn't distract or take away from the story or flow. If anything, it added a beautiful layer of depth and made the animatic that much more memorable. It made it feel like there really is a world out there where a dad is comforting his grown son. Rubbing his back so he can sleep. Soothing him, relaxing him with the distant memory of his childhood. I like how the fire still crackled as Techno slipped into a comforting sleep. The animatic just absolutely oozes with character and passion. Ugh this is such a nerdy comment and is probably way too far and super dramatic but I really really love this. a h
