Ken, that is such a great story!! I love the excitement in your voice, and the pride evident in your facial expressions, when talking about building and caring for Kim’s “Blue”. Thanks for doing your part in helping Kim to create such iconic music over the years. I have been a huge Kim Mitchell fan since 1976...and I have fond memories as a kid of spending time in Cosmo Music - when the tiny store was on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill. Cheers!

I had breakfast across from Kim Mitchell last week at the speakeasy in Peterborough Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 and he grinned at me I did not want to disturb him during breakfast it was awesome listening to him talk to a retired piano teacher about his musical endeavors

Great job and cool that the neck was PLEK'd. You can tell Kim really digs it. Update: It's been tweaked again since this. He has 3 knobs on it. The covers are off the humbuckers and at some point, the coils to them were tapped for phase switch etc. - oh and it still sounds great! So does Kim!

Kim Mitchell is one of the Greatest Guitar Players ever...He is criminally underrated...People don't realize what a technical guitar player he is...He was shredding out as far back as 1976...If you are a listener of music and enjoy full on guitar gymnastis...one song a new listener should listen to is "In the World of Giants" by Max Webster, Universal Juveniles album.
