I honest to god believe justin isn't that morally sound. In comparision to the hollycouple, sure ,but my Unpopular opinion is why was this man going around for 2 yrs trying to make a movie out of a book that glamorizes ab*se!?! Evn with so many women raising alarm about the books impact on impressionable mind ever since. It seems he is now trying to do damage control ,but lucky for him blake and ryan are making it easy for him. The book is the issue in the first place, and it was his idea.

The good hearted always win in the end and Justin is a man of integrity. If you listen to him speak, you can piece it all together. He has said nothing but kind things about everyone. The rest just shunned him out and act like he does not exist. I only heard of this book, this movie, because of him. I admire AND respect him. I am not throwing cancel culture at Blake, but I feel like she owes some sort of statement to redeem Justin. He has WAY more following than she ever expected and she didn’t realize his fans were just as deep as him. We shared his vision. I loved her in age of Adeline. Her interviews were even different then. I’m not sure what happened here but I have hope it’s repairable.

Throughout all this and everything I’ve seen , I personally feel like this is a situation where Blake; (who is obviously more famous compared to Jason) felt like she had more experience in film and maybe felt like she could take control and direct some things , and when Jason, someone who is not as popular as Blake, would try to direct (as the director and man who purchased the rights to the book should🙄) , she maybe thought she could talk over him or take control.. seems like an abuse of power difference and popularity.. Then, all the other crowd following crew and author, just sided with her because of her status Jason is handling all this with so much class. And the way he talks positive about Blake despite whatever is going on and also shedding light to DV issues - is enough evidence to show, who the real problem was. A director who keeps it professional. You can just tell this man is a MAN. Blake just seems like an immature bully.

Yup he admitted he stepped back and let those women (ehem co-star ehem) lead on those intimacy scenes plus still having two intimacy coordinators, yet they tried (but failed) to accuse him of stepping over the line making the "woman" feel uncomfortable, GIVEN that she mainly coordinated it. 👀 See the contrast there?
