I have had my Corsori for a year also, and it still works just fine! My basket is in pretty good shape and the coating is still on it. I see that Amazon has replacement baskets which is cool. Very pleased with my purchase of this air fryer. Cosori puts out good products, their new indoor smokeless grill looks great, kinda tempted. Thank you for your video :)

I have had mines for 2 years. I have liners that goes inside the basket (COSORI Accessories). Also, I put dawn in the basket and add water and place back into the machine and cook it for 2 minutes . This helps keep the basket clean

Looks great, functions great, and highly recommended.The buttons are touch (not pressure activated "touch"), which was a nice detail kzbin.infoUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB Perfect size for normal every day meals, and it cooks food very thoroughly. On preset settings upon first use, it cooked my chicken breasts to a crisp. Boarder line too dry, so next time I'll either decrease temperature or time. Not a bad thing, just a minor adjustment for next time. No oil was used, so food was clean to the touch. Excited to see how other meals will turn out.Will recommend to friends and family in the future!

Mine, different brand, also loses some coating at the inside perimeter of the basket. I'd think this appliance still needs improvement. It's almost impossible to clean the heating element, which grease will accumulate over the years. But of course, they want you to get a new one.... i am just worried what the landfill will look like with this kind of 'business model'.

Thanks for the video, I’ve had my Cosori about six months and love it, I use it all the time and I’ve never used my big oven since buying it. Good to know about the replacement basket although I do not need it at the moment. My only criticism was the annoyingly loud beep but after watching another video regarding that I popped off the lid and inserted a screw in the beeping bit (very technical here 😂) to make it much quieter, I’m sure my neighbours are happier. I must try some of your suggestions for meals, ta 👍

I'm considering buying a new AF after my old one is getting knackered after constant use for the past 18 months. I cook everything in the AF as I don't own a oven, they're just too expensive. I'm leaning towards a cosori, but it needs to last at least 5 years to be worth the outlay, I guess liners would help with that. I know they're trying to simplify everything these days, but I never use presets and could do without them tbh, I like to be in control of what I'm cooking instead of relying on AI.

It says a lot about modern applliances, that we have to seek reassurance that they still work after so many months, to a year. If it gets a 2yr warranty, it blows peoples minds. Business models sadly changed, so things were not built to last, like decades ago. Get a year or two out of it, then they can buy the new model, seems to be the mantra.

Mine failed after a year and half of constant use. The basket wouldn’t stay in anymore even if it was a replacement. Cosori ended up sending me a brand new air fryer that I just got today

Lol why in the world would you want to use an air fryer for ramen? It's a mini convection oven, not a pot. Just boil water on a stove if you want ramen. You can make hard boiled eggs in it, but I'd suggest just getting a hard boiled egg maker. They hold 7 eggs, are cheap to buy, and don't take up much counter space

I think it depends - sometimes it is pretty cheap to get it but it covers limited things. I usually don’t get it for things unless it is an expensive product. For this product I would not.

Looking at the review, I would rather invest in COSORI than any other brands (locally available and cheap), or I will no longer use it after purchase. I looked into other options available in EGPYT Philips, which is more expansive than this product + shipping fee.

There are no toxic coatings. PFOA was pulled out of all non-stick cookware in 2013. The primary reason he may be seeing that in the basket, is if he is using aerosol oils. Spraying into the basket and not the food before it goes in. We wore one of the Cosoris out. I bought an extra basket, when the other started slowing down, we bought the same model so we have two underpans, and three baskets. The one basket on the original one is still in use, no problems. We estimated we used that thing 2,000 before it started slowing down.

@@julieleuthard9226 We estimated from the time we bought the thing, until the time the fan started slowing down in speed, meaning it took longer to cook things, we used that Cosori over 2,000 times. When we bought a new one, we boxed up the old one because in a pinch we could still use it, it wasn't broke. Buying the same model gave us a couple of advantages, the basket and collection units fit so we now have 3 basket inserts and 2 of the collection thing the basket goes in (I had bought an extra basket for the original one). I love the thing. I see people who have the Ninja 9 in 1 and they like them, I just don't need an appliance that big which has to be cleaned out like a microwave when I use it. 🤣

The odor is the new smell when you start using the air fryer, they tell you in book Before you use it to preheat so the new smell will go away, same with any appliance.

My cosori died 1 year to the day. Far as I'm concerned it's a pos. Anything should last over several years. Yes, I have checked all the stuff that people say to check. And much more. Machine turns on, everything works except the burner does not get hot. I tested it and the burner is fine. Anyway, we went out and bought a better larger one and it cooks much better than the cosori and was much cheaper on sale. I will eventually get the cosori up and running just for fun but far as I'm concerned, they are junk, specially in looking into it, they are very basic simple devices.
