I always say I'm not having Turkey but land up buying one. This year I bought a Turkey crown also so this has been useful, thank you. I have the Ninja Speedie so will try it on steam roast, fingers crossed it turnes out well as chickens are cooked beautifully this way.❤

Hi Lindz, I tend to use the airfryer exactly like the oven, I just reduce the time and temperature. If I used foil in the oven, I’d still use it in the airfryer then remove for about the last 20 minutes. Great video.

@Mary_Rees thank you, Mary. I always wonder, and I should have done it that way as that's also how I would have done it in the oven. I hope you have a lovely evening 💜x

Looks delicious and I like you absolutely love sprouts. Unfortunately I haven’t got such a large airfryer but it does look good. Mine is the ninja dual like yours. Maybe I could do 2 small turkey crowns instead. Looking forward to the next video,thanks

Hi Lindz what a lovely turkey crown how it turned out nice and golden and well cooked,michael and me love brussel sprouts we always have them for our christmas dinner and during the year if they are available we always roast our chicken in the air fryer and it comes out lovely the meat falls off the bone since we moved to were we are in may we dont yet have a cooker so we use our two ring with oven combo but tend to use the air fryer alot more we will get a cooker but for the time being we will do our chicken in the air fryer and also use the slow cooker for doing a joint of beef in there which comes out so tender 😊

Hiya lovely 💜 I try and stock up on Brussels when the veg war happens at Christmas and blanch and freeze them. I've managed to grow a few this year enough for 3 dinners over the Christmas 🎄 I haven't used my oven in nearly a year Christmas dinner last year, in fact. I don't think I'd bother with another if anything happens to mine. I'd just build in a hob and have the extra cupboard space. I totally agree that roasts in the air fryer or my multi cooker are some of the best I've made x

I love Brussels sprouts, add salt and a good sprinkle of Garam masala (or a light sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon) when boiling, delicious.

I'm really considering cosori smaller dual blaze as after some trail and error with this one-off camera, I'm really starting to love it now. And as for the thermpro, there brilliant had the brand for years. Have a great evening, lovely x

I've got a thermometer similar to that Lindz and it connects to my phone through bluetooth so I can keep an eye on the temperature wherever I am in the house,I agree with you about the turkey being a bit dry compared to the chicken and to be honest I'd rather have a ham or beef joint instead,the turkey looks amazing as does the veg,I saw a video where someone did roasters in the air fryer with water below the crisper tray,you don't part boil them as the steam in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 170 then you spray them and turn it up to 200 for 10 to 15 minutes,they looked great but you don't know till you try these things out for yourself,another really enjoyable video flower Xx

I love sprouts. Some people overcook them which may be why they don't like them. Also they should be cooked alone not with other veg, if you are boiling them.

Thank you for sharing that. I have a ninja air fryer the Megazone and I’m thinking of doing my turkey and then I’m gonna get a small one but I’ve done chicken in it and it comes out lovely brilliant thank you for sharing that. 😊👍
@ellenlyons40909 күн бұрын
I’ve just ask whether I can do a turkey in my ninja flexi on Megazone. My chicken came out moist and succulent so I think a Turkey would to. I have untold cook books on air frying cooking but none have anything about roasting a Turkey so this has been brilliant to see.

I have a ninja flexi drawer Air Fryer do you think a Turkey crown cooked on Megazone roast would take the same time at around that weight. And would it be advisable to use foil and remove it for the last 30 minutes of cooking to brown up.

Olive oil is good for salads and low temperature cooking but loses out when high temp which is good for veg oils. Instead of relying on followers try a bit of googling.
@LindzandLife9 күн бұрын
Hi Graham you might want to Google the different types of olive oil some are for as you say salads and others for high temperature cooking 😉 I didn't know that either till I searched it x
@grahamjohnson47029 күн бұрын
@@LindzandLife Yes low quality olive oils can be OK but extra virgin can lose its qualities and not be cost effective using olive oil is basically a Oh look what I use bragging right, when you are frying or baking you are not looking for the same sort of taste experience that you get with a salad. olive oil of all types have a low smoke level. So says Google.
@LindzandLife9 күн бұрын
@grahamjohnson4702 mines more than likely low quality as it came from lidl and states on the bottle its for roasting and frying. I prefer the price of veg oil, and I didn't notice any difference cooking wise x
@happinessafterall25919 күн бұрын
@LindzandLife You've the patience of a Saint 🤣 Just a note the highest temperature for recommend use on that olive oil ( for roasting and frying) from lidl is approximately 210c so it's fine X
