I don't think the scale adds too much to the game experience. More is not better. But the American Conquest was ahead of its time because of: Realistic Musket reload time, Minimum Shooting distance and switching to melee weapons, Shooting from buildings, Formations mechanics, The fact that you couldn't attack buildings but had to capture them, Realistic speeds, so many games have this wrong, and age of empires still hasn't learned these things

I suspect it to be as buggy and crash-prone as this one. 9 months after its release Cossacks 3 is still a piece of crap, although they fixed some issues (and introduced new ones). I would never buy anything from such company.

It really depends on the RTS to be honest. I'm not that great at RTS like these where your units demand this much attention during battles. But I excel at RTS like Crusader or Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Where there is an equal focus needed on economy, defensive structures and buildings, AND the units.

Some people might put a low rating on Hoi4 game because it is kinda complicated but you slowly you will learn or you can use commands to make the game easier (fully in Cheatland). I recommend buying it, enjoy your time!

Unknown Entity I agree Cossacks 2 on pc had 120 men fire ball, then would spend time reloading. You had an officer, drummer, and flag bearer. Losing these men would affect your morale. It looks nice however combat has been sacrificed for speed on battling. Sorry not for me. Sooner play total war games.

Hi. Who knows how to keep shooters together in one pack not allowing them to get separated? I mean groups with officers. You have for example 10 groups (120 shooters each) and plus monks. Thus you have a string unit. But when you move them, each groups tends to be separate :(

You should've backstabbed blue, no one was as close of a threat. It's a game, it's FFA and backstabbing is part of it. When backstabbing was no longer an option you, yellow and green should've ganged up on blue. It's how games like these work, eliminate the threat. You can't turtle the whole time, you'll lose and the only time you'll win is when everyone else overlooks it when you go pick up the scraps. You have to learn when to attack and when to defend and look at the pros and cons of each move you make. You made a ton of mistakes here and I honestly figured you'd learn by now how to play RTS's. I'm not asking you to play on a pro level but you haven't improved at all, you just get lucky for the most part and stick to the same mindset. It's cool to play with friends and just have a casual skirmish and I get that, it's fine but it's an RTS, being a jerk is to be expected and the only way you'll win more often.

You use your canons too little and dont spred them out so they can take out more enemy unnits. Canons was a key factor to take out blues many concentrated troops.

Funny that they did not include the Persian empire which was one of the strongest at the time of king Nader. During the time of king Nader (and early Qajar), Persian empire comprehensively defeated the Ottomans, Russians and Mogul empire at the same time. Persia inflicted such a defeat on Ottoman empires multiple times and forced them to seek peace, Russians didn't even try to confront Nader over the Caucasus and just withdrew. Either the developers of the game know nothing about the history or deliberately left out of of the strongest empires contemporary of Ottomans and Russian empire due to ideological and political motivations.

He actually attacked his neighbors early, did not wait for them to properly gather up and got help from red who was telling people not to backstab in an FFA, ffs. Ofcourse blue won they even stopped yellow from simply harrassing not even base killing.

why did u invade the city? he had no cannons man! you should have placed your cannons on those hills and then blocked the corridor between them with your army. you could keep bombarding his city and force him to try to push u back.
