It is better if you can build a water tower say one hundred foot up in the air so that you could pump the water up to the tank so if there is any power cut you can use gravity pressure to yr house hold

If you not lucky and your landlord produce salty water then you can start a treatment on it there are lots of Aqua Tablets that can be put into the Polytank for resolve the salty issue and also there is also a filtration system too but the filtration system can be a bit expensive but is best.
