ronak jain What if I "supplemented" more than 60% of my total protein intake (150-180g) from whey protein powders (3 servings = 70-75g protein)? Is it harmful? Is it less beneficial than actual foods? Is all the fast digesting protein wasted (except postworkout)?

Some of workers that i know in Telengana eat rice and chilli powder + Tomato curry . some times it is eggplant curry some times ladies finger . They are 10x healthy than me . Because one of 60 year old guy carried 50 kg rice bags for 2hrs straight. I really dont think any healthy protein shake drinkers can do such things So my advice is this , go to market and buy some rice . and vegitables that are cheap ( seasonal vegetables will be having lowest price on season )

one more thing beerbiceps .. we all are working people. you talk about consuming 7 times a day. .. adopting a gymming lifestyle is almost impossible for us. we dont get time to eat so much food u recommend. we can at max consume 3 main meals + 2 snack meals which in calorie count terms amount to 1800 calories. we cant have more than that otherwise we will have digestive issues. so how do u go about it.

Indian diet is very sophisticated. Food is not just carbs there are many things other than that. I have been following FDA from more than 5 years (people there are just to market their supplements and fool people). Again, I'm not against body building but there is definitely more than simple macros which are specified by the American standards.

dude, you need to have 100gms of protein at minimum considering you're at a 20 percent body fat, it'll be even less if your body fat percentage is higher. let's say it's 20 and you go to the gym, then you should ideally have 135 gms of protein(this is very moderate you can go higher), and 1 gm of protein is 4 calories so that's 540 calories from protein, and then you need like 50 gms of fat everyday that's 50*9 i.e 450 calories, 540+450=990 calories and the rest you should get from carbs! look up building your meal plan by Scott Herman, he breaks it down really well

@@arjunrathi93 According to WHO a normal healthy person needs only 0.8gm of protein per kg of its bodyweight. Talking about resistance athletes they need around 1.5-1.7gm of protein per kg of body weight. These figures are from Food scientists,WHO and american dietetic association and not from some so called fitness youtubers and fitness magazine. Instead of following them read some book you will come to know.

dude, i'm telling from what really worked for me. By having 1 gm per kg I wasn't seeing any results. I'm currently following a 65 25 and 10 percent split for protein carbs and fats for my caloric input and I've seen quite a lot of difference the last 3 months. Also, Scott Herman and Athlean X are legit channels bud, I'd suggest you go watch them before dismissing them as BRO science, I'm pretty sure they know all there is to know.
