Gotta say, most of the high rise apartments are so poorly designed. The desire to cram as many units into a floor in the most hap-hazard manner without thought of function astounds me - bedrooms without windows, kitchens without room for a full size fridge. Many smaller apartments look like hotel suites and in my book aren't suitable for permanent residency. Such a shame the market was sold out to Chinese developers with no regard for Australian living.

Average price for Melbourne Apartments/houses is 1 million usd/unit x 2,000 units = 2 billion usd. I am already buying to rent all out. Special forces personels would have moved to Melbourne. Done.
