grocery price in that mercardo is not cheap at all, similar to the US prices
@bondedteam6264 жыл бұрын
You can find cheaper prices than that. It depends on the kind of restaurant where you go dine in.

1:11 my uncle was a legal US resident but he's nationality is guatemalan, so he went to guatemala to visit his wife and kids i guess he was supposed to be in Guatemala for only 3 months, him not knowing he stayed there a whole year, when he came back to the US arriving at the immigration check point in the airport they took away his USA resident card, he was allowed to stay here in the U.S. but his U.S. legal statues was revoke by US immigration. he was here in the U.S. working and sending money back to his family in guatemala eventually he got tired of not seeing his wife and kids so he decided to go back to guatemala knowing he will never be back here in the U.S.

I love your Vlog it’s helped me so much.. Im planning to go to Antigua Guatemala next year,. I’m here in macau working ( blue card holder ) I still need to buy visa to go there as a tourist? I hope you reply maam..thank you ❤️
@AdatheTraveler4 жыл бұрын
I am glad to know that u like my video. Regarding visa, it depends on the type of passport. But mostly, people can stay up to 90 days per entry, then extend another 90 days once.

@@AdatheTraveler thank you for your replied maam, I really appreciate it. I’m holding Philippines passport maam, I’m not sure if I still need to buy visa because they said some countries no need visa to go to Guatemala for tourist. Thank you❤️
@AdatheTraveler4 жыл бұрын
@@crishtelfaithhopelove7113 You need to check with your immigration department for that. Since it's a long way from Asia to Guatemala, you might need to do transit (mostly in the States). You have to check if you need a visa for that too. Good luck😊

One thing I learned the HARD WAY, Guatemala IS NOT A CHEAP destination. Housing prices are comparable to those in USA, at least in cities like Antigua and Guate city.
@AdatheTraveler4 жыл бұрын
Antigua is relatively expensive comparing to other locations in Guatemala on housing because it is a tourist area and houses are nicer. But it is still cheaper than developed countries. For other living expenses, the price is higher than Mexico. So it's not that cheap actually and choices are limited.

Correct….. can’t compare Mejico city to Antigua Guate…!!!… but Guate city, is cheaper than Antigua soo might even be cheaper than Mejico city. But remember, all is relative.
@AdatheTraveler3 жыл бұрын
I never live in Guate city, no clue. But I feel absolutely safe in Mexico City.
@rudolphparedes98563 жыл бұрын
@@AdatheTraveler : FACT, Guate city, is cheaper than Antigua. FACT: Antigua is safe. Now, how a person FEELS about safety, is different than a person having EXPERIENCED an assault, being victimized on some criminal act…!! Were you victimized in Antigua????, or, were you told “be careful, don’t be out at night, don’t carry cameras, hold on tight to your purse and belongings “??????… Blessings. Safe travels..!!

Are you fluent in Spanish now? What immersion school do you recommend?
@AdatheTraveler3 жыл бұрын
Before finding a school, you have to know what is your priority e.g. budget, time or need to get a professional qualification. You can check on my 3 reviews regarding Spanish schools in different locations in Guatemala. Basically, I can speak after one month of learning. I will say I am comfortable carrying a general conversation because I say the same things over and over. It really depends on the topic.
