Cost of living is not a problem for me in grenada because I plant and process most of my food and I don't spend on unnecessary stuffs and expensive clothes . And for meat I go fishing and also rare animals.

Thank you so much for this video. We are living in London where i was born of Grenadian parents and we are moving to Grenada for our retirement in 3 years time. This superb analysis will enable us to plan our finances to enjoy our remaining days in paradise in a modicum of luxury as London is so expensive and our pensions will stretch so much further there.

Oh yes, they still do that. But I’m sure for most new foreigners, it will be a Herculean task to see license plates first before deciding to call on a taxi.😅 Most countries I know have a specific colour for taxis 🚕🚖. Thank you for this point, it will surely help as people read your comments.☺️☺️

@bubusboulevardtv10 ай бұрын
Either way is fine, to be honest. Join the Rent properties in Grenada Facebook page so you could make real network before you get on the island. I hope this helps. Sites you can check out are Terra Caribbean, ReMax, Century 21, to name a few but they can be a bit pricey. You could meet direct landlords in the Facebook group. I hope this helps.

Hi, first time watching your videos and new subscriber now 😊 My husband and I are planning to move to Grenada. Any advice on what areas have affordable places to rent? Safety is a must as well. Thanks!!
@bubusboulevardtv2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and subscribing. Good to know of your plans. Grenada is generally a safe country so most of the places are safe. Places outside the Country’s capital: St George’s are more affordable than St George’s. If you plan staying in St George’s; look out for places that would suit your commute to work/school/business. Here are some places to look into: Grand Anse, Morne rouge, Calliste, Frequente, The Limes, Golf course, Point Salines, Morne Jaloux, Mount Hartman, Point Salines, Mt Parnasus, Tempe. L’anse aux Epines and True Blue are the most expensive places in St George’s.

Nice one, a quick question. What is/are the visa procedure for a tourist?
@bubusboulevardtv2 жыл бұрын
It actually depends on the country of citizenship. Some come without visa required like US,UK and some Caribbean countries. Some, on arrival. Some, before arrival. I just found this link; this could help. grenadaembassyusa.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Visa-Requirements-for-Grenada-final-UPDATED-February-2021-Approved1.pdf

Hi, I have been watching your videos from Naija and they are really detailed and touch on the relevant expenses. I just got employment at SGU as a clinical instructor, I have a family of 3 i.e my wife and kid but I am yet to resume the work, I just wanted to know if you have any personalized advice concerning rent and which area would be more affordable Thanks
@bubusboulevardtv2 жыл бұрын
Congratulations, on your new job. Sure, I can help; I’d suggest you stay at areas where the SGU buses run. It makes it easier for you especially at the beginning until you settle in to get your car or rent one. Places would be, Frequente, Point Saline, Limes, Calliste, L’anse aux Epines, Grand Anse, Mont Toute. (A realistic order of preference for a Nigerian family). I hope this helps.

Thanks for taking your time to explain and make things clearer In this video. But I have a question. Does Grenada allows foreign student to also work there and what is the average cost of living for foreign students coming there
@bubusboulevardtv2 жыл бұрын
I don’t really know about students being permitted to work, as I haven’t seen students who work. The “working students” I know first had their work permit and decided to school too. If you are referring to SGU, they give you a financial disclosure of how much your expected cost of living would be upon admission. But this video would be a fair guide. Thanks for watching 😊

You should google Grenada's government website for that information.

Great video. How would a person on a work visa get a driver's license ?
@bubusboulevardtv2 жыл бұрын
Yes. First, you would have a short-termed and renewable Temporary Driver’s License. You renew every three months, after your 4th time of renewal, you are eligible for a permanent Driver’s License that’s renewable every year.

I am not sure because I’ve not lived in the country side or know anyone who does. Why not go on Facebook market place and type in rental houses in “st Marks, St Andrews etc in Grenada” . That would guide you.

How much does earn a nurse or an elementary school teacher per month in US dollars in Grenada ?
@bubusboulevardtv2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure, given I’ve not been part of these sectors. Probably, someone who reads your comment could help answer. A lot of factors to consider is what organization they work for as that can determine how bogus or meagre a salary would be.

Where would you recommend to find housing in Grenada ?
@bubusboulevardtv Жыл бұрын
My best picks in no particular order are Mount Parnassus, Mount Moritz, Lance aux epines, Morne Jaloux, Caliste, Point Saline, Westerhall Estate, Corinth St David, I mentioned these because of the serenity but there are different reasons that influence your pick. If you are a student or professional of SGU, I’d recommend L’Anse aux epines, Caliste, Frequente, Lime, Point Saline, Mont Tout, Grand Anse , My Hartman because the SGU bus routes go there and they are easily commutable with lots of convenience stores and service providers around.
