Increasing the money supply by 40% to cause inflation was another massive tax on the poor. The highest immigration in the G7, with the lowest housing supply was a planned disaster. With Government restricting the housing supply at the same time the scheme worked better than a pump and dump stock scam. @Hollyucinogen2 күн бұрын
The Carbon Tax is part of it for sure, but there are other reasons for it too. For example, gluten-free bread is like $6.99, and only half the size of regular bread. Rent has skyrocketed by like 300% since 2016, and minimum wage is still like, $15. I'm in my mid-30s and half of my friends have had to move back in with their parents to make ends meet. Only 1 person in my immediate friend group out of 4 of us has a kid. Edit: lmao I just looked at the price, and a pack of gluten-free bread is $8 at Costco. 😭

Housing costs, along with other essentials, have been skyrocketing since around 2022, with prices more than doubling. The Liberal-NDP government, instead of addressing these core issues, has been distracted by imposing carbon taxes and implementing minor programs like school lunch, dental or child care, which benefit only a small fraction of people.
@zachweyrauch29883 күн бұрын
If you're concerned with the expansion of property prices, it's been an issue since the early 2000s. The price of property in our major cities was warping prices in small towns during the early harper government. It's worth noting that no government with or without a majority has done much to address housing AND that pierre was housing minister for a solid chunk of this growing issue.

@zachweyrauch2988 Every single local MP from the NDP and Liberal parties supported these bad policies and Trudeau-until their own jobs were on the line. I voted Liberal back in 2015, but I think it’s time to hold them accountable. None of them had the backbone to stand up against bad policies when it mattered. What they’re doing now-revolting against Trudeau-should have happened two years ago, when inflation was soaring and they doubled down with the carbon tax. I have no sympathy for these MPs. If you support harmful policies and a failing leader while people are suffering, you deserve the consequences.

2025 saving tips: 1) ditch cable tv. You dont need it. 2) cable and dsl internet is dirt cheap. No, you do not need a gigabit connection. 75 mbps down and 20 mbps up is all you need. 3) pick three streaming services and pay for a year with each staggered by month. 4) mmm nothing beats a home cooked meal. So it takes a bit of work to make and clean up after. Far cheaper than getting premade. 5) nobody needs the latest electronics. If you are paying more than a grand a year on new electronics, consider not buying new gear for 2 years. 6) Spoil yourself once every three months by going out. 7) eggs, flour, and milk can make soooo many yummy things. Experiment in the kitchen. Who knows, perhaps that 10kg of flour you got at No Frills for $11.97 will last a few months. If not, then meh. It's only flour. 8) if you are a cigarette smoker... that $10-$15/pack a day habit is costing you over $200 a week and up to $800/month. Quitting saves alot.

how do we expect folks to afford a bachelor at $2000/month? once homeless one just cannot work, its a full time survival thing... bachelors without marble counter tops are needed, no one see that seems like ... noy listening to the populations need will lead us to a none-sense like in the US...

A tiny bit of our money used is to keep the Ukrainians over there. They coming here will cost even more, in several ways.

Buy groceries close to or past the best before date 😂 then by the end of 2025 buy groceries that are within 1yr of best before date. In 2026 we will get rid of best before date.

How come Ukraine couldn’t just stay neutral? Why do Canadians believe that taxing ourselves into poverty will save the world from climate change. How is identity politics and effective way to govern or create any policy of any kind. I hope 2025 shows some common sense after many years of insanity.

how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??

So tell me if you heard this one: Two 3 month old accounts and a 4 month old account walk into a channel one day. The first three month old account posts a scam. The second three month old account comes in to back it up. And the 4 month old account comes in with the phish lure.

Please forgive me. My brother, there is still a brotherhood of faith. I asked you for a bag of flour. My brother, we women cannot go out among men. There is still a woman with you. My brother, God has honored you. You are men. We are women. We cannot go out or work like you. My brother, where is the brotherhood of faith in your hearts? We are women. There is no brotherhood, no mercy, no compassion, no humanity. And give good tidings to the patient. It is the greatest hope while waiting for what we want. Oh man, we are with you. My mother ordered us food from the restaurant. More and today. My mother left. Crying. She said, Why are you crying, my mother? She said, My daughter, I ask. God, that I may be honored by death. She said, Why, my mother. She cursed us. She said, "My daughter, today the restaurant owner insulted me. I said, 'Why?' I said, 'How can I be better than people?' I ask God, my daughter. May God gather me. With death alone, a gathering that is better than this humiliation and this humiliation. It is true. I am saying this. It diminishes my value and respect. But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 𝟬𝟬𝟵𝟲𝟳𝟳.737726277 Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 15 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 45 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. Is it acceptable to you that we live in this place? We are girls and we have no one. Our father died in a car accident. Consider us your daughters and your honor, and help me with whatever you can.
