Cost of studying master degree as international student in the UK

Hello all,
In this video I broke down the cost of studying in the UK. Using a randomly selected university as example, I went through the amount that you would have to spend in order to be enrolled and given visa to come into the country. The major expenses are explained and calculated so that you have an idea of what is required to come into UK for masters program as an international student. I discussed costs from deposit, visa fee, IHS surcharge, tuberculosis test fee, flight, accommodation and pocket money needed for the start of the degree. At the end I converted this cost to Naira currency for Nigerian views that are planning to come into UK as international students. Also, I discussed the amount required to put in the bank as evidence for visa application as well. Hopefully, this information can help you make decision on making that move to come for your degree in the UK or otherwise. Best of luck.

Hi, absolutely, you can enrol from any country. I would suggest googling them, it would depend on your course of study too. For example, type MSc public health courses in the UK. You would see several schools offering such course and you can review them from there.

Hi, Yes it is still possible to apply now and get admission for January start. Although, I must say the time is very short now. Also, many schools will ask for your passport details in the application form, in this case you cannot apply until your passport is ready

If this is the case why not try Canada because it won't be as cost as the UK... Cost of living in UK alone is high

The choice is yours sir, I gave the information to help people make informed decisions. Also note that UK is the easiest to get, Canada can deny visa on slightest issue, plus you need 6 months statement etc... but still your choice

You didn't talk about the IELTS ?

That is because not all schools require IELTS, depends on the school and your evidence of English. But that can be added, which will cost around £185. Thanks for the comment

Air tickets, covid test etc not included

I calculated air tickets in the video, flight for £350 for single trip, can be slightly lower or higher. I didn't add a covid test because this is only temporary until covid end hopefully. However, it cost £170-200 depending on the company.

You just need to put money in the account per number of persons coming with you. Then pay for IHS, TB and visa fee. I have that broken down on my Twitter page , yet to do so on youtube
