Yes, that is true. The government has changed the policy. Students coming for taught masters are no longer eligible to bring dependants. Only research masters and PhD students can bring dependants

Good day, at post study level. I would advise you looking for jobs in your field, possibly volunteering if no paid option. Again if you want to further your study, then looking into PhD scholarship can be done too. You can use sometimes to add some skills so you can get these roles, job or scholarship

I am a software developer but I want to completely focus on my studies and my journey into academia, what do you think will be an alternative to get money for expenses?

Congratulations on your admission. For the question it depends but can be challenging to be honest, working among students usually depend on their skills. Customer service, care, factory work etc... these are just a few but I think you can work small and still have excellent grades. I worked and still passed my masters and got scholarship for PhD as well. Depends on how you plan your time, small work should be fine 🙂

Salam Alekum Dr. Fola I want to ask that as a public health fresh graduate(Second class upper), is it realistic to say I want to get a Sponsorship job in Uk in the public health field (and not as a Care worker or unskilled worker) without any experience per-say aside from those I get on the internship while in University. Or I should just concentrate on applying for a master's? Is it visible I get sponsorship or a scholarship for masters in Public Health?
